New ALDI Coffee Pods Are Rubbish, Stock up on The Old Ones Now

OK, it looks like the Aldi Coffee pods have changed and are now being Made in Australia. The design has been changed, and its more plastic and prone to breaking / popping in your coffee machine.

Here is how you can identify the Old Style Vs the new Style Pods :

You will notice the old style is "K-Fee" whilst the new style isn't.

So trust me, you don't want to get the new style. Rest assured if they break you can return them to the store for a full refund.

But moving forward, I think the only option is to stock up on the old pods whilst they are still in the shops.

      On some of the Facebook groups it has been reported since May. But the second I made a post about it there, they chewed me alive for not searching though 5 months of old posts.

      Google doesn't seem to show anything, so I figured this post should get more attention.

      I have stocked up on the old style and will be going back for more, my latest box has a 12 month expiry. So will need to do some excel spreadsheet calculations, to figure out how many boxes will need to be purchased to get me through this current crisis of 2024, just like the Toilet paper drama of 2020.

        I have some from over 2 years ago and they still taste fine…

    Looks like they are biodegradable in the machine!
    Might be time to upgrade to a dual boiler setup.

    I have exclusively been getting Urban Brew coffee pods since I found out about them. Much nicer, but they are a tad more expensive than the Aldi pods.
