I have these, good fit and sound for me. For those whom like the old school war buds with no cushion and sorta open air

    • Yeah, I have two pairs, great sound and great mics.

My only problem is they seem to have some sort of fall detection built-in, and they pause when I move my head. Annoying, and I don't know how to turn it off. Their "app" is just a graphic equalizer.

Does anyone else have this problem?

      • +4

You can turn off the "in Ear detection" in the apps.

        • Thanks, I'll try that.

      • Oh, is THAT why nobody could hear me when I turned my head? The Bluetooth connection wasn't dropping out and it was really consistent so it made no sense.

    • I can't pair the left bud - have you had that problem?

  • +5

I have the air2's, about 2 years old and still going strong. Great value headphones

  • I bought the air 4 which has malfunctioned.
I can't find a way for warranty claims.
How do I do that ?

    • 130 Days Money-Back & 12 Months Free

  • Thanks, my Air 2 battery on the case doesn't last long, so time for a new pair and these will do nicely.

  • +3

I had the Air 3 Pros for 2 years, thought I'd finally killed them after their 3rd run through the washer and dryer. The light wasn't showing on the case when charging, though the earbuds were still working perfectly. Ordered the new Air 4 Pros, thinking they'd had a great innings, but turns out the only thing that wasn't working was the little green light!

So now I have shiny new ones, and my daughter has my old pair, still functioning perfectly fine, minus the light.

  • Time to upgrade from air2

  • I bough the older Air2 and Air3 a couple of years ago. Still going strong and great quality!

  • +1

Only white ones at this price.

I am looking at getting new pair. Great budget earphones i prefer the feel of this style compared to buds style.

  • +4

These are shockingly good for the money.

  • I've got the Free2 classic. It's not the best but fits well and has good sound. It's missing some features I'd like but I can't fault the brand at the price point they sell at.

Good if you just looking to try ear buds or just want budget ones. They're good value.

  • Anyone own these and Airpods Gen 1 or 2 and can comment on comparative sound quality and ear fit?

    • +1

Probably not a hugely fair comparison, even the Gen1s seems to still be 100$+ (and were closer to 300$ on release).

    • +2

Ear fit is exactly the same as Airpods 1/2. Sound quality is great.

    • -2

I have the Air 3 (not the Deluxe) and they're about 80% of the sound quality of Airpods. At this price range, I would get the QCY T20 instead ($35). The QCY T20 is noticeably better than the Air 3 and about 90% of the sound quality of the Airpods.

  • How's the microphone on these and can it cancel out the background noise so the person I'm talking to won't scold and hate me?

    • +2

mics and noise reduction are excellent.

  • +4

Grabbed these for $48 from Amazon a while back and didn't expect a lot. Have been very surprised and like them plenty. Highly recommend

  • +1

Thanks OP just bought. Have had the air 3s for a few years. Love em so why not as a spare! Can't beat half price! 🍻

  • Thanks OP. Have the air2 and love the design, these should be great

  • Thanks OP- got a pair.

  • Can't fault mine for the price!

  • Showing $67.99 now….

    • +3

You need to hit the apply 50% coupon button

      • +1

LOL, thanks. Staring me right in the face but didn't see it !

        • +1

I didn't see it either…thanks for the question.

    • +2

and a non-video review for the "HS" model.
      https://headphonesaddict.com/soundpeats-air3-deluxe-hs-revie…

"We don’t know any classic buds with better sound quality than these. Not even Apple AirPods 3.

On the other hand, if you want better stability and multipoint support, you should look elsewhere."

  • +1

Thanks OP…picked up a pair…I will give them a go

  • Thoughts on these vs AirPod pro? My AirPod pros finally on the way out - wondering if these can tide me over till AirPod pro gen 3 comes out

    • These are good for the price but they're just basic earbuds. Nothing like Airpod Pros. Personally I use them because I can't use rubber tipped earbuds, but nobody makes expensive ones without them anymore.

  • +3

Had 2 pairs of soundpeats, both failed with 1 ear bud not working around the 13-15 month mark.

Their customer service said too bad, warranty is only 12 months.

    • Same thing happened to mine in the same timeframe, 1 ear bud wouldn't connect to bluetooth, no hard resets etc helped :(

  • My Air 3 has an issue where the left earbud runs out of battery after 1 hour but the right is fine for several hours. No idea how it’s happened but kinda annoying.
    About 18 months old.

    • Same. Right bud is probably a slave to the left, so left does all the work. It improved after I upgraded firmware, but it took me ages to do that.

  • This doesn't have multipoint does it?

  • I have the vanilla 3 and I love them so much.
I'm getting this as a spare or might give it to missus.

    Thanks Op

  • +1

i purchased these a couple of months ago, but after recently grabbing a similar priced deal on huawei freebuds se 2 i wouldn't recommend the soundpeats personally.

the sound lacks bass in comparison, and if i dont pull both earpieces out of the case quick enough, the second one wont connect untill i place the first one back in the case and close it, then open to try again.

also had to download the app to turn off the touch controlls as having a beanie over them triggered it, whereas others i have seem to be actually capacitive touch sensing, not just proximity or something.

  • +1

Can anyone comment on the voice quality for calls? I see the buds have two mics on each bud and CVC 8.0 for clear calls but, does that actually translate to decent audio quality on calls?

  • Good price, but don’t recommend them. Going from capsule 3 pros, I’d thought I’d upgrade to these. Wasn’t the experience I was expecting. Actually miss the capsule 3 pros.

  • -1

    looks like a toy

  • Is it waterproof?

  • It's no longer showing the 50% off coupon for me. Anyone else still see it?

  • +1

Coming up as 67.99 for me

  • Thanks for sharing, nabbed a pair before it expired. Been looking for a cheaper bud in this shape for a month! Half price and free shipping woohoo!

  • +1

Never Soundpeats again within 6 months one piece stopped charging asked for replacement same thing 8 months in died that’s soundpeats 2

  • +2

Ive had a pair of air 3 for few years now, after dropping them many times and going through the wash still work flawlessly. Thinking of buying a spare set in case these ever die but no signs yet!

  • I bought a pair of Soundpeats due to the Ozbargain Poll a whilr back… big mistake. Nothing but issues (too many to list).

To top it off, the womans voice that speaks for things like mode changes, sounded like someone standing in a public toliet, recorded on a tin can….

    • Maybe list a couple issues?

      • -2

Why? I bought galaxy buds 2 pro and love them so far.

I even went with another no brand after soundpeats, they were Earfun pro somthing, no good.

Its worth paying a little extra for something most people will use everyday, and for some on multiple devices

        • +1

I'm just saying the issues you have with the product might not be an issue to someone who is interested in this product. Without explaining why they are bad you aren't really saying anything.

          • @raiamino: I didnt have this product myself, so any issues I had may not be relevant at all.

My point in sharing, was that the over all quality of the product made it not worth the money. IMO even entry level "big name" pods are a better choice than the many no names that litter Amazon and online.

TBH Amazon returns are pretty easy anyway, so it will only be a waste of time rather than money if issues arise.

  • +1

Wow, I just lost one of my air3 pro earbuds on a flight like 12 hours ago haha. Perfect timing!

  • Mine arrived yesterday. The sound for an earbud is perfect, probably the best I ever tried. It is so comfy and small that I thought it could not keep in the ears. However, the battery is pretty poor, an average of 4 hours with a medium volume

  • +1

Mine arrived today but was faulty. The right earbud isn't charging :(

    • Got the same issue with mine. Did you get it sorted out? I emailed soundpeats and they gave me some instructions to try do a full drain, wait a day, then recharge. I'll try that otherwise I'll return them.

      • I returned it the next morning for a refund and bought another pair. It's working well so far.

        • I got a refund, didnt have to return it.

  • +2

Shit .. quite a few dramas. Mine arrived yesterday and the R earbud would only last 20 or 30 minutes max …charged them three or four times for hours so returned today but I do like the sound (for the price and can't wear eat tips… Can't stand) as have the air 3's from a few years ago. so I've ordered another one after returning to Amazon , hope these ones are better when they arrive tomorrow as for $33 they are pretty amazing!

    • Thanks for the details. With the Air 3 (non Deluxe) the L dies well before the R

      • Found out same as me just now. Used around 8AM today and L just ran out of battery at 11AM boooo.

    • +1

Same as me. My L earbud went from 100% to 10% in 2 mins.

Returned today and reordered another pair.

  • +1

Received mine. Right earbud battery lasts about 10 mins max then switches off. Charged up to what it reports as "100%" several times and still only get 5-10 mins charge on the right side.
Amazon won't do a replacement so have to send back for a refund.
    Good times.
Meanwhile my OG Apple Airpods from 2016 still somehow manage about an hour and a half (on both earbuds)…

  • Wow people weren't kidding about the sound quality being good. Much more bass and louder than the Sony wf-xm3s I've been using for years.

Also seems to stick in my ears better too. Gonna test them out to check for the battery issue

  • +1

Yeap my L last roughly 2 hours while R around 5. Shame because these sound good by default for me

Tried updating firmware and also fully discharging and recharging. L will always be 40% lower than R. Will be returning these

    • -1

They're rated for 5 hours, and I'd take that with a grain of salt (how they measure can be a poor use case). I'm lucky to get 1.5 hours of my Air 3's. I'd take 2-5.

  • +2

Used twice so far. R goes flat in 5mins even though the app tells me when it’s back in the case, it’s 95% charged. Just upgraded the firmware. If that doesn’t work, will be getting a refund.

    • +2

Yeah that happened to me, so sent back to Amazon for a refund and the next day bought another pair and they are perfect lasting for hours, very happy with them maybe try that mate….

  • Will do, thanks!

  • +2

    I just got my replacement Air3 and it's even worse, L 100% R 20%, fully charged, reset, discharged/recharge

    I give up

  • +2

Man… These were so good for the price. Sound quality (after custom EQ) and fit were perfect for me.

Sadly, the left bud could only hold a 10 minute charge, and I'll be returning them.

  • After good call quality. I've got a cheapo Tozo set and I'm told it sounds like I'm in a toilet. Are these any good or should I stick with Samsung?

  • +1

Ordered one and had to return it.
The Left earbud only had 10% charge and will turn off after 1 or 2 minutes.
I tried resetting, cleaning the charge connector, tried to charge over and over again. Nothing worked.
The fitting is not as tight as other earbuds I have used.
It is a shame because the sound quality is really good.

  • Ordered one, left earbud can't hold charge longer than 5 minutes.

Threw out the box, how do I get a replacement without returning them?

    • +1

Just contact amazon help chat, they dont appear to be requiring a return from what others have said (i suspect they have received a LOT of refund requests for it and cant be bothered processing the returns)
