so this sim pack is $10, then first renewal is another $10, the second is $30 but all three have 64GB ? is that what they're trying to say?

    • Click on Deal: 100GB for $15 for first 28d

      • Amaysim don't understand the term 'renewal'. If you buy this through Woolies as I did, you will pay $15 for the 100GB deal and kick off the first 28 days. I thought the first 'renewal' would be at the next 28 day billing period so $15 again. NO! They will charge you $40. So complained and threatened Ombudsman. A very stubborn operator wanted to push this hard, but in the end caved and got me my next 28days at $15. They did not in the end charge me and it went through for free!

        • Many Telcos use the term 'renewal' to mean from purchase.
          It's a SIM + first 'renewal' for $15.

Don't forget to login at any cashback companies (TopCashback/Cashrewards/Shopback) before you buy any of these plans.

From what I read from the plans, it's $15 that you buy for first month (80 GB + bonus 20 GB, then $15 will get 80 GB second month (first renewal only), but third month and ongoing will revert to $40 (still 80 GB). It's because original plan is 80 GB for $40 if normal price.

The $10 plan first month is 32 GB + bonus double data (32x2) so total 64 GB first month, second month $10 for 64 GB (first renewal), then third and forth month $30 for 64 GB (total 3 renewals), then fifth month and ongoing will revert back to 32 GB for $30. Only 3 renewals means month 2, 3 and 4.

If you have unlimited wifi at home and work, I don't think you need that huge amount of mobile data (outside wifi) every month. Unless if you spend a lot of time outside to watch videos or download big data outside home/work wifi. Check monthly data usage for this.

For many people, it's cheaper to just buy yearly plan even better when it's half price :P
