I think you want to go to the beach/coast instead if you want driftwood not just a stick.
Isn't driftwood a stick?
Aren't GPUs rocks that we tricked to have electricity inside them?
(I've got no idea if I'm doing this selective bolding thing correctly by the way.)
What is the opposite of technically correct that is what you are here.
Driftwood is a stick. When you look at it.
If you put a stick in your tank that hasn't been dried out and the sugars have gone then you'll upset the balance.
If you put a bit of driftwood in you'll get tannins and it'll likely make your water PH lower (this is good for some fish and plant life)
If you ever want to put random sticks into your tank make sure:
1. They are completely dry and have no fungus or other parasites on them.
2. You completely boil the specimen, or gamma irradiate it or such similar treatment.
3. Ideally add it to a quarantine tank, since even after that there may be something left, but it is usually fine.
4. Unless you know how it will impact your conditions, monitor your water and dont add too much.
Or, you could get one of these instead :)
How do the ones on the beach get gamma irradiated or boiled?
They don't, these do.
@Brandingo: Good deal for Bruce Banner then…
@Brandingo: Pro tip: As a rule of thumb, just don't reply to JV.
@Trishool: I haven't seen wiser comment in OzB.
You advertise giant but have a link for small. When looking for giant they dont come up and your large pieces are over $50. What am I missing here.
Im not really sure how to word it, we have 3 sizes of what i call "giant centerpiece wood". They are all 30cm+ and the 30-40cm is what i linked to directly here. They are all really big depending on your tank size.
Larger sizes are obviously more expensive.
You can't just put random wood into your tank. Different wood effects water chemistry differently. Also its a long process to get it ready for the tank, and to make sure there are no parasites.
You can make your own driftwood but it is quite a process. This seems a good price for the convenience to be honest

I didn't say it needs to random…
This is the stickiest bargain since Sticky the Stick Insect got stuck on a sticky bun
Just wait till you see Loggy and his Long Log. The biggest morning wood i've ever seen.
Post a deal on it.
So is this a deal or the usual price?
I havent really seen this price for this size anywhere, especially posted.
Im not sure if we can keep up this price or not, but either way I'd rather not lie to you by arbitrarily adding a higher price and crossing it out since its a new item we have on stock.
Goto any aquarium look at the price.
Or if you have ever owned and aquascaped an aquarium then you will know this is pretty good price.
Though I still like to boil and soak wood even that's been pretreated just to reduce the amount of tannins.
I paid around $80 for a 50cm centrepiece 6 months back. It is expensive but I just wanted to support my LFS, since I sell stuff I breed to them as well.
Baby Groot would kick his twiggy ass.
These are great for my Beardy… although Brumation has really kicked in at moment :S
These also suitable for Blue Tongue Skinks?
There are lots of old branches like that at our local park for free.
