Ive found a lot of instructions on how to set up for laptop but can't find any for these two although I have heard its definitely possible on chromecast.

If they are in same house should be fine
If they are in different address you might get done by RD.
Once you set up the account (by laptop, mobile etc), the settings are saved by account so you just need to do it only once :), apart from the trakt authentications

Literally… follow the guide.l - yes you do need a pc to set up. After that don’t need it. Takes 10-15 min max.
mobile - iOS or Android? Android just get the app and login once you pass the initial setup stages on a computer
Chromecast get the app and login. Firetv devices you need to follow the last step as outlined in the guide for those devices. I can confirm both work fine.
