What is the service and support like for these out in regional areas?
Mailing them back to base could get expensive.

1) They sold me a scooter which claimed (and continued to advertise for several years) to "eat up hills of 20°" it couldn't even get up 50m of a 10°hill.as it was single motor..They refused to take it back until consumer affairs got involved. Then I still had to pay postage and since they would only take a store credit.I had to get a proper dual motor scooter.
2) Then I had battery problems with that and they said see the importer, nothing we can do.
So treat them like AliExpress, save money, but don't expect service.

I’d heard that too. Also their website states that if you need to make a warranty claim after the first 30 days the buyer pays all the shipping costs! I assume being grey stock they aren’t covered by Segway themselves too.

Better off getting the jbhifi AU version with less hassle with warranty, although not much goes wrong with Max G2 if looked after properly.
