Just get a RTX 4060 for $429, ~10% faster than A770 and much less power consumption: https://www.centrecom.com.au/pny-geforce-rtx-4060-8gb-verto-…

Get 4090 Ti later for $9999, 9000% faster and uses up micro fusion reactor.

    • less vram though

      • Yes but the benchmarks show it's still faster despite the lesser RAM.

Or for $369 you could get a RX 6650 XT 8Gb.
Its around the same at 1080p raster performance and will have way better driver support for older games and emulation. The cPS3 Emulator works as good as Nvidia cards now thanks to some updates. Also way less power usage.

I think the price, power usage and need for PCIe4.0 to run well has been an issue for Intel and is why they are at 0% GPU market share now.

They did however do a great job improving their drivers. Still not at good as AMD and Nvidia. :)

I have the Acer version of this which cost a similar price.

If I could do it over again, I 100% would buy the card again. Gaming while it usually is the main justification for graphics cards, isn't the only workload placed on it and the 16GB is quite helpful.

4K, 144Hz screen - quite happy with the decision - performance in AI, video editing (AV1 codec) and gaming has been excellent.

    • do you game at 4k with it?

Buy used if you're on a budget, you'll get a better deal

The A750 for $293 is the much better buy, the A770 rarely performs much better than it and it's a 1080p/1440p card so it's not really targeting high res to need the 16GB.

The driver improvements have been great too - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3WSqLEciEw - even that video calls out Starfield and the issues have been fixed since then. Unless you play the absolute latest games, it's a solid price.
