Buy TV Now or Still Wait (X90L) ?

Im in the market for a new TV as I am moving out. Ive had my eye on the X90L. Unfortunately, I missed out on the great deals 5/6 months ago where the 65inch was going for ~$1.5k. Is there any chance that they will still come down to that much in the near future? Its currently $1.9k at most retailers but I cant help but think its not worth spending that much on a model which has had greater price discounts. But I also dont want to wait too long and have them taken off the market, and having to purchase a newer model for an increased price, and then having the price slashed again severely in 5/6 months. Im not against the newer model, Im against spending more than I need do.

Basically could it be worth waiting a little longer or should I bite the bullet now?

    65 inches? Maybe not the suggestion you're looking for but if you're against spending more than you need to, have you tried just sitting closer to a smaller tv? It honestly pans out the same..

    If I tell you that the more advanced and cheaper model of X90L is not available in Australia at all, what would you think? :) Keep calm and pay attention to the similar TV to avoid missing out on more discounts.

        My bad, I still need to workshop English. In my view, you should focus on similar TVs of other brands while waiting for the X90L's discount. Based on two reasons:
        1. X91L is the advanced and cheaper model of X90L but only available in China. Moreover, SONY will never release it in AU.
        2. There are TVs with good performance and similar prices from TCL, Hisense and SAMSUNG. It is better to check them in Harvey Norman, and JBHiFi Home…lest to miss out on more discounts on these brands.

    I’m hanging out for Black Friday / cyber Monday sales. Im also after the Sony x90l. Jb Hi-Fi / Harvey Norman are your best bet or seeing what the Sony site drop the price to and use the 10% off new sign up offer. 85” went down to around $2500 last year.
