no other place is cheaper than this, but need to expect long delivery time as i dealt with these guys, slow but legit
5.0 ah battery normal is at least $100 above

  Same experience as OP. One item arrived in a couple of weeks, one took about 3 months, but the price was considerably cheaper than other places. Don't buy something you need immediately

  FYI Tools.com work as a dropshipper, so once you order they send a PO through to whoever is selling the product, and then that company ships it. The company I work for sells through Tools.com (and their other companies) and I initially set up our system. So while you may have had long delivery times previously, if its a different company selling this it may be quicker. I know we aim for dispatch within 24 hours and mostly use StarTrack.

      Yeah, they took a couple of days, but they did respond. They give you a coupon code that's valid for 24 hours to enter at checkout. You can also price beat in store.

  Not a flexvolt battery, so won't work in Dewalt's higher power tools, just to let unsuspecting buyers know. I've got a blower and angle grinder that need Flexvolt.

  They are definitely slow to deliver but it always arrives. Eg; my latest order with them was placed on the 6th June and is expected to arrive tomorrow.

  I do prefer to order from elsewhere but sometimes their prices are just too good to pass up.
