D3 was $10 at ToysRUs USA a few months ago.
i only want SC. already have that hugely disappointing D3. (totally waste of money, imo)

I think we connect to ANZ servers, not US…. but I could be wrong.
For SC2 we connect to SEA server.

I think he means most people in Aus connect to US servers cause the SEA servers are crap.
Until Blizzard releases global servers sometime next year, this version only allows us to connect to the US servers.
Australian versions of SCII normally connect to South-East Asia

Most connect to US servers since the SEA servers have a considerable amount less players than the US servers.
Aus version of the game has US and SEA server access, but US only has US server access since the game is region locked (apart from Aus version of game which is partially unlocked, giving access to SEA and US servers).
SEA is harder than US in terms of leagues (most people agree US Silver league is roughly SEA Bronze).Well worth it for $20, but make sure your mates are on the same server, or change to that server when you want to play (button on the start screen of SC2).

I assume that the HoTS expansion from Amazon US will work with this version? Maybe they are still giving away BETA keys for HoTS?
I have the budget for Dialo 3 since the day it releases. But without the offline mode, I am still keeping it in the bank. Maybe I use it for the SC2 exp and forget about D3.
Why do you need offline mode? You can play alone though

I'm trying to figure out a way to buy the $20 US version, and have it available on my existing AU account. Is this possible or do I have to pay $30 or start a new account?
I made a US account and almost bought it under that login, but then realized it will probably lock it to that account instead of giving me a key, can anyone who's bought it confirm if buying gives a key or just adds it onto the account straight away?edit: I've noticed this is written on the store page
