Was having a look around for some contacts as I was running out and stumbled across this frankly amazing deal. Oasys dailies usually go for well over $100 per 90 pack, so this represents quite a significant saving.

The listed price is $76.72 per box, but using the subscription option takes a further 15% off down to $65.21. You can turn off the subscription after the first delivery similar to the Amazon deals if you don't actually want to keep that going forwards.

Further to that, if you order over $119, you get shipping for free, and another $20 off the order.

I personally ended up ordering four packs for $240.85 which ends up around $60/pack. Best value would be to order 2 packs which should come in at $55/pack.

How do these compare against Dailies Total 1?

Would also be interested to hear others thoughts on this, but my guess is that whilst they will be quite similar as they are in the same 'class' of product/lens, there will likely be some wearability differences that you may/may not like coming from a different product. I'd recommend trying to get a trial pair from a local optometrist for a day or two to make sure there isn't anything funky going on between your eyes and these particular lenses before committing to a large supply of them.

They're both good. Wouldn't say one is much better than another

I prefer the Acuvue Oasys. Haven't found a daily disposable more comfortable and better yet. The Dailies Total 1 I find are a bit harder to remove, I have to really pinch to take it out. Wearing them both are comfortable, but taking out the Oasys is easier. But yeah, get a trial pair and test it out for yourself. :)

      • As an optometrist, both are great lenses, Total1 would be more comfortable in general but some do find it difficult to remove, depends on your technique. A note that an upgrade on the Oasys 1 day is/has launched called the Oasys Max 1-day, bit pricier but better end of day comfort and has a blue-violet filter to help with starbursts/haloes at night, worth trying if you have issues with those things

        • Very keen to try the Oasys Max as I have those issues with starbursts, but I couldn't pass up these at the price hahaha

    • I was using these but found the last couple of packs I had started to irritate one eye; felt like it was scratching every time I blinked. Recently optometrist gave me dailies Total 1 to try. So far very comfortable. They feel slightly thinner to me too.
At this price though I’m tempted to give them another shot.

  • Amazing deal, I normally pay double that.

  • This is incredibly cheap and is well below cost price. Source: am optometrist

  • Wow awesome thanks!

  • I hate it when shops rip me off on shipping.

I got that too with the shipping fee when i chose the subscribe option, but I let it slide as I want to get these at this price :)

Just get 2 boxes, 1 for the left eye & 1 for the right eye with the subscription and you get $20 off + free shipping. Came down to total price of $110.42 for 2 boxes. Plus $4.64 cashback tracked with shopback!

    • Did you realise that delivery taking another month?

    • $110.42 but no SB tracking for me (from last week) unfortunately, will attempt a missing cashback.

  • Reward Gateway has 8% cashback as well. Great deal, thanks!

  • Thanks a lot!

If only you could find Astigmatism ones at these prices

I just checked my order and they've charged me more than what I had.
The subscription cost for what I ordered was 4x boxes at $240.85 (didn't give me free shipping).
They've charged me $286.88, but my next subscription shows $240.85. I called their customer rep and they said the first order gets charged more, and the discount applies on 2nd order which was not what I saw when I did the order and not what the first email confirmation I got showing $240.85. They were actually pretty clueless and just making stuff up by the sounds of it. The customer rep couldn't do anything over the phone and said I have to send an email in to get it hopefully adjusted which might take 8-10 working days…
Anyone else have this happen to them if you did the subscription?

    • I didn't have this experience specifically but it doesn't surprise. The live chat rep I spoke to didn't seem to know what promotions were running at the time.

    • They just tried to charge $605.20 for my $240~ subscription

  • Has anyone used both B&L Biotrue and Dailies Total 1 ?
    How do they compare ?
Biotrue 90-pack is available for $59.99 here: https://www.contactme.net.au/products/biotrue-oneday-90-pack…

  • The over $119 to get $20 off seems to not be working automatically. Even live chat couldn't fix it, so had to tell them the order number to make a manual adjustment.

worst website and cart system I've ever seen

  • Both my orders didnt track with Shopback either, what a joke

      SB claim submitted.

Knowing SB tracking issues, I probably should have gone with TCB instead …

      • I have also submitted, but i am worried now, The annoying thing is i could have used a 10% coupon as well but cashback was more so i went with that. Because clearly was having a promotion / sale, (no code, automatic sale), Then possibly shopback will try to use that as an excuse.

        • Missing cashback claim has been approved.

Signed up to a subscription they claimed would be $110.42, just checked my card today and it turns out I was charged $302. Just got on with support and they're claiming the price changed to $178 a box!!! Insane

This pricing turned out to be complete bullshit and now I'm going to have to refund through my bank. Dodgy company

    • Bait and switch…

    • Same happened to me! Even without apologies or notification suddenly triple up the charges! I'll lodge a complaint to fair trading NSW.

  • Overcharged like the others.

  • +1

Update from my end, apparently the pricing issue is to do specifically with their subscription system, and a ticket with all their Australian orders has been created to have this resolved. I've been told that I'll have an update with a resolution in 3-5 business days, so I will chase them up if I don't hear anything by the end of this week.

    • Good luck! I've just got my refund back. I won't trust this business anymore no matter whatever they said. When I rang the customer service girl obviously fully aware of this issue.
