    Don't take the ᵉˡbaite.

  • Westpac will pricebeat and buy your kid for 30 bucks.

    • buy your kid for 30 bucks.

Are they gonna feed them ?

      • Yep, a spam a day will keep their brand focus nailed down.
No spam in a can that would be extra.

  • They have been posting deals on here since 2021. The kyc is a goverment regulation.

  • Is anyone still doing cryptos these days, or is everyone all in on NVIDIA?

    • Nah, we guzzle up Yank food, funny them Mex guzzlers are now nearly 3 times the worth of KFC and Taco Bell combined.

    • Nvidia? That's old news we jumped bandwagon to Tesla

    • The correction on Nvidia will be biblical

  • I got the credit too. I just can’t send the BTC that I buy here to a different wallet address(which would be ideal)

    • How come?

Is withdrawal to bank account possible?

      • Just realised, they do have allow sending BTC to other Wallet Address. You'll need to Add your BTC Wallet Address first and then go to https://app.elbaite.com/swap

It's just that they charge a lot to send funds to an external wallet.

I'm trying to send 0.000265 BTC (A$24.73) and only getting 0.0002063(A$19)

This is a very confusing exchange. And I think it is this way on purpose.

This is what I am seeing by using the "Swap" function and after I added my BTC address

Send your crypto within 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, the transaction will expire if no crypto is received.

          Swapped From
          Bitcoin
          Swapped To
          Bitcoin
          Amount Sent
          0.00026598 BTC
          Amount Received
          0.00020362 BTC
          Send Here
SOME RANDOM ADDRESS I DO NOT RECOGNISE
          Receiving Wallet
          MY BTC ADDRESS

This doesn't seem right at all, why would you be swapping, and why is the send address different?

Not only that, I can see everyone else's swaps by changing the number at the end

          https://app.elbaite.com/dashboard/swaps/60

Just change the last 2 digits to a lower number and you will see what I mean … there have been fewer than 10 transfer today to give you a sense of how dead this platform is. This is concerning I can see other people's transfers and wallet addresses.

EDIT: After 20 minutes it expired and nothing was sent to my wallet.

EDIT 2: I tried to send them a ticket and it says "Something went wrong. Try again later"

Negging this deal. The exchange can't be trusted. Can't transfer to a wallet, and can't withdraw to your bank account.

          • @Lucille Bluth: This "SOME RANDOM ADDRESS I DO NOT RECOGNISE" is probably your BTC Wallet Address on elbaite. I just don't understand why they charge so much in transaction fees. They did mention that they'll charge 0.5% on the total amount of cryptocurrency swapped, plus gas fees.

Regarding the swaps URL, I think they haven't restricted access to it if you're logged in.

There are about 69 transactions so far. Coz if you navigate to https://app.elbaite.com/dashboard/swaps/70, it just says undefined everywhere.

            • @SiddAjmera: Were you successful in withdrawing to your BTC address?

              • @Lucille Bluth: @Lucille Bluth, I feel like it would make much more sense to sell the BTC on this exchange, send the money to your Bank Account and then deposit that amount to the Exchange of your choice. That's what I'll probably do too.

          • @Lucille Bluth: wow, just because you personally can't get those to work doesn't mean the exchange is "untrustworthy".

            • @Cave Fire: I'm pretty sure the fact I can see people's wallet addresses puts this in the untrustworthy category. Show evidence you were successfully able to transfer the $25 out, not a single person here has come out and said they were able to either transfer to their wallet or sell and withdraw AUD to their bank account. I have had my bank account verified and there is no option to withdraw the BTC I sold to AUD

              • +1

@Lucille Bluth: Exactly the same situation here.

Sold my crypto yesterday to AUD. Today it has disappeared from my account altogether while waiting for them to verify my bank account.

Can't submit a support ticket - "something went wrong" error.

                • +1

@Moo Deng: The same. I am not entirely sure how @Cave Fire can say this platform is trustworthy.

                  1) can't withdraw BTC to your own wallet
                  2) can't withdraw to your bank
                  3) customer support tickets show "something went wrong"
                  4) I can see other people's withdrawal attempts - breach of privacy
                  5) sold BTC has not been added to the available balance
                  6) Need to do guesswork to be able to spend exactly $25, fees are not displayed before execution of purchase

                  • @Lucille Bluth: You can see unidentified addresses in most cryptos. They also look like system transactions vs anyone's funds as such. I guess the worst thing here is you change to another crypto and transfer to another aud exchange.

                    • @Cave Fire: You can't transfer anything out. I went through all the previous transfer requests visible and they all failed/expired. Doesn't look like anyone was able to do it recently out of the 70 transactions I looked at.

Doesn't matter which cryptocurrency or whether it is AUD. You can't transfer anything out of the exchange. That's problematic I would imagine for many.

  • btc costs some gas feeds, so you need to try different amounts till it accepts.

  • What's the best crypto to buy with lowest fees? Normally buy XLM but doesn't even look like they have it? Litecoin next best option?

    • if they have NEO CRO or TRX, these have low fee in general.

  • What a shit exchange. Converted $25 to BTC and says

    Waiting for blockchain

Why am I waiting for this? I haven't even sent it onchain yet. Purchases should be immediate, as they are market buys not limit.

And you need to enter random amounts until it processes the transaction. You can't simply select $25 to purchase as there are fees. So I had to enter $24.72 for it to finally process with the $0.28 fee.

Need to upload bank statement to verify bank account too.

Oh and it won't accept Ubank BSB as it says it is invalid. So stupid.

  • +1

Beware if you are withdrawing AUD, you need to withdraw at least $25.
I deposited $2 via PayID this morning, and the money is still not there.
They can see that I have deposited, but they will apparently investigate why the money is not my account. Let's hope this is not a scam lol

    • Has it been credited yet?

      • No not yet, I messaged support again this morning, still no response. I also sent the CEO an email by guessing it ([email protected]). It hasn't bounced back so I'm assuming it's correct.

      • Just got my deposit now, hopefully yours has been credited as well

      • Did you get your deposit yet? I am waiting 3 days for $2 deposit to clear still.

        • Mine still hasn't come through either

          • +1

@Moo Deng: Mine came through today after contacting them. Transferred out, hasn't come through yet. Said it takes up to 3 days.

Honestly, the worst exchange I've ever dealt with.
