Remember the days when we didn't have to add a surcharge at shops… and the cash price was the same as paying with a card… Then merchants started to apply a minimum spend to avoid a surcharge… and then it was the normal… I know PC retailers are notorious for surcharge and were one of the first to introduce… Anyway, I just wanted to vent about it after seeing it in the title.

IKR, off topic, but restaurants charging minimum 10% on Saturday and Sunday too, will be a norm too soon, ridiculous!

  • Will this fit this monitor?
I don't have a stand for it and am looking for a stand or an arm for this.

ur montior is too heavy, gotta look at the mount's max load capacity, per arm and compare it with your own montior's weight (without stand)

      • Thanks mate. Will consider the weight, and not just the screen size. I'm concerned that the style of the mount is circular, which is hard to find. Is there another type of mount that I can use for this or does it have to be circular?

        • Not sure if you talking about VESA mount. It's usually on most universal monitor mounts sold. It's those four screw holes that is the VESA connections, it should say in the description of your monitor and the mount you want to buy. Probably try to look at the manufacturer diagrams of the VESA mount to make sure the measurements fit your monitor.

      • That's a square one though.
        Thanks anyways.

        • What's square? Mount point? They all are: VESA 75x75, 100x100, 200x200, 400x400. The round cap at the back of the monitor should have 4 VESA holes behind. Once the original arm is removed secure your new arm VESA plate to those holes.

Check internet videos on how it's done.

          • @vovka: Thanks bud.
Yes, all the vesa mounts are square.
But this stupid monitor has a circular hole. How on earth do I find something that converts it from circle to square, to enable me to then use a standard vesa mount is the million dollar question.

The four vesa holes in the monitor are recessed a good inch into the back of the monitor. The square plate doesn't quite reach it.
I downloaded the user manual and it shows there's a circular object/cap that goes into the back of the monitor, that allows a standard vesa mount to be used. But it doesn't say what this circulate object is called, a part number, or where I cna source it from.
            😭😭😭

  • Has anyone used this with LG C2? I know it says only up to 34" but the monitor is 9kg and this supports 11kg.

    • I'm interested if anyone is using this for an AW3821DW…which is 8kg.

    • Also looking at this for my LG C2 42". Found a few posts on reddit etc which show it working well. Was tossing up between it and a few of the heavy duty Vivo mounts.

I also read that the LX is the same product as the Amazon Basics model https://www.amazon.com.au/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Mounti…

      • The LX and the Amazon basics mount you linked look like pretty different designs from the photos

        • Looks like the Amazonbasics single arm is sold out so the link re-directs to the dual arm. Plenty of videos show the construction of the two being basically identical.

I purchased the amazonbasics one with the Vivo plate adaptor for my LG C2 42" but haven't set it up yet!

    • Found this Vivo which has a higher weight rating of 15kg and seems to be able to go higher which would be handy for the 42"
