Wondering if anyone has had experience with some good, honest value men's suits online?
I'm having trouble finding bigger sizes, and after a lifetime of uniforms suit shopping is doing my head in!

I too second a tailored suit. As well as being more comfortable, they tend to wear better making them a better value long term proposition than buying off the rack.
Rather than using a HK, Bangkok or Vietnam-based tailor, I'd suggest looking at local offshoots of those tailors as you'll get a better fit for not much more money. For example, there's a business near me in Melbourne called The Suit Concierge who measures you up here, then gets the suit made up in Hong Kong, before doing final adjustments here. Have had a couple of suits made up and both were top notch (not sure they'd fit after putting on weight during COVID mind you 😉).

If you're looking for Tailored check out Nita Fashions on Instagram. They are based in HK but also do trunk shows around the world. I've got 3 of their suits and the measurements were taken over a video call with my wife using the measuring tape with their instruction. Lifetime free adjustments and whenever you want a new suit or shirt you just message them as they have your details on file. The price is about what you would pay for a half decent suit of the rack here and is fully customisable.
A tailored suit feels like a pair of PJ's, incredibly comfortable, can't recommend it highly enough.
Otherwise head into Myers or DJ's and find something on the rack that fits.
