Whats the second A stand for

      • MAMIL* sorry

      • -1

Mamil (or MAMIL) is an acronym and a pejorative term for a "middle-aged man in Lycra"

If you buy all the stuff but don't actually ride that much this could be Middle Aged Man And Lycra…

it looks nice in the wardrobe :)

  • Sadly it seems like they deactivated the bundle discounts, last year you got really good deals when piling up the 20% discount code + 20% bundle discounts.

  • rumour has it that quality went south since being bought out. Can anyone confirm?

Can confirm, better value to be had at Black Sheep.

That's a shame. I have been so loyal to RAPHA over the years due to the quality of their gear.

    • Yeah, just in broader terms, I feel like there's a giant black hole now that the bargain brand DHB (Wiggle home brand) is gone. It was probably the most fitting for Ozbargainers looking for good quality at a bargain price (I think it was around 60AUD for a pair of bib shorts during their frequent sales).

Black Sheep bibs are good but their jerseys fit smaller for me i.e. I'm usually small size but need a medium, whereas their bibs fit true to size for me. Their 'Elements SS Thermal' jerseys also have really scratchy/itchy/prickly seams along the front zipper area, although it looks like it's no longer being sold.

NeoPro are probably the bargain brand now, but you truly do get what you pay for with NeoPro, and they're nowhere near as good as DHB was in my opinion.

      • Yeah DHB quality was great for the price. Couldn't agree more.

  • I picked up their small travel backpack with the 20% off… you have me worried about the quality now

    • It's still good compare to most brands, just not as good as what it used to be (top notch) and also the inflation make less value.
