Bath Spa - Installation Cost

Hello everyone,
Has anyone installed a spa bath? If so, do you know approximately how much it costs to upgrade? The cheapest spa bath is around $2500 more than normal tubs, but what are the estimated installation costs?

What quotes have you gotten for installation so far?

What’s wrong with just farting in a regular tub to create bubbles?

If it's replacing an existing bath, essentially a bathroom reno; new build, different matter entirely.

It's not simply a case of a swap over, you've got plumbing for water jets and pump, electrical supply for the pump, exterior mounting and through the wall connections to the pump, external power point. Possibly, a relocation of the waste pipe. And that's before retiling.
Identify your situation, then start talking to either plumbers specialising in bathroom renos or your builder, if it's a new build installation.

Lol. I'll surprise the client with that after demolition works have commenced on day 1.

      • Only a sucker would pay that.

      • does that include waterproofing?

  • but what are the estimated installation costs?

More than you estimate.. or want to spend.

    • … for something you'll use 7 times.

I wouldn’t do it. We renovated in the 1990s and put in a Spa bath. We haven’t used it in years.
