Been prowling this for a while, usually price sits around $50-$60

I'm getting it to replace my older crimpi ng tool that I use mainly for 12v applications (camping, Anderson plugs etc.)

One of the features I'm mostly interested in is the "double crimp" as I find I usually would have to crimp twice with my current tool to get it to hold solidly.

  The double crimp feature looks good. Ill have to see if my favoutite wurth set do that. Im guessing so as they have never done a bad crimp and I've never realized why.

    Really you shouldn't need to do more than one crimp if your crimping tool is crimping with enough force and you are doing it properly. If the crimp is loose or falls off, you might be using too large a connector for the wire, the wire might not be fully inserted, or the crimp isn't being done with enough pressure.

      Yeah this is the main reason I'm upgrading, the old tool just doesn't exert enough pressure

    I got a topex (I think) off here for about $20 ages ago. Works a treat. It doesn't ratchet but it does also strip well.
