I have a Philips one blade and it's great big recommend

    • Is it good for beard and neckline?

      • I exclusively use mine for trimming my beard and shaving my neckline and it's the best razor I've used. It irritates my skin the least.

I bought the OneBlade 360 Pro last week since my last body groomer's(https://www.shavershop.com.au/philips/bodygroom-series-3000-…) foil broke after six years. I tried the OneBlade on my facial hair first, as my Braun Series 9 needs a blade replacement, and I thought I should give it a shot to see if the OneBlade can be a replacement for both my electric razor and body groomer. These are my points from the first time I used it:
        - Compared to regular electric razors, its blade is fairly small, and you need to go over an area repeatedly to get a consistent cut. It doesn’t irritate the skin at all.
        - I have coarse and thick hair, but when I used it on my facial hair, the hair offcuts were scattered in the bathroom. However, the result was good after about 10 minutes.
        - I had a similar experience on my body hair using the click on body guard. Not only its blade is too small, but it also doesn’t cut as efficiently and quickly as my old groomer, which is disappointing as I bought it to replace my body groomer.
        - The attachment for pubic hair is very practical and completely safe, even on balls.

All in all, it performs less than I expected. I am going to use it as my body groomer, but it will take longer than before, and I will have to replace the blades every few months, so honestly, it doesn’t have any benefits over my old one. I might use it for my facial hair too when I’m travelling, as it’s light. Hope it helps.

I have the same groomer from 4 yrs now and much happy with it, seems i have few more yrs left. My main use for Philips One Blade could be neckline but i think its better to stick with straight razor.

          Bollocks to that.

  • I usually use straight razor for neckline, is oneblade a good replacement to that?

The cost of replacement blades are starting to make me regret my purchase decision.

Black Friday bulk-buy is the way to go

      • Do you happen to know how much they usually cost with the Black Friday discounts?

Oh.. Thanks. Didn't know these needed blades.

  • I regretted buying the One Blade, and upgraded to a Norelco Series 9000, much better!

  • How do you shave your back with this ?

I have the oneblade 360. Have owned it for 14 months. Isn't the closest shave but I haven't recharged it ONCE in 14 months (granted I use it for about a minute every 3 days)

  • Thanks, decent price.

I previously bought the QP6550/15 which died after only a year's use (2 to 3 times a week) - got a refund from Amazon but wasn't impressed. I have several unused blades, though, so I ordered this - fingers crossed it will last a bit longer.

  • Just ordered the Pro version with case from Amazon Germany via Au. $122.46 with delivery.

Seemed like the best deal, been watching it for a while and 3Camels has the lowest price for this model (with different case) for about $110 last black Friday.
