Mobile Plans That Slow Data Once Limit Reached

I saw that Dodo mobile has slow speeds if you run out of data while on their $10 a month plan.

I was thinking of switching to Dodo from Felix since I have broadband at home, but I'm wondering if any other providers have this feature? Most of them say "data amount is exhausted before plan expires access to data will cease until the customer recharges" however dodo is the only one that gives you 200kbps for free so far that I know of if you run out of data.

I'm not planning on being big on data but it's nice to still have data if I accidentally use up my data or something.

I'm currently on dodo and will be porting out. There is no use having "unlimited" data when I get constant dropouts, sometimes for hours. Thursday night at the opera house, circular quay and Harbour bridge for 5 hours and it was basically useless. Yesterday at Bondi junction the same. HShowed a connection sign but my Oppo74 kept coming up with no internet connection. Have also had these same type of outages in different parts of Sydney as well. Phone reset doesn't help, Reset internet settings doesn't help. Maybe they can offer it because people can never use it?

Never had a problem with Amaysim or Optus which uses the same network. Funny enough, I am looking at putting my wife back on Felix because it is a cheaper than Vodafone itself and she never has coverage problems

I used to have a shaped 4G data plan with Telstra. Problem is when it runs out it’s practically unusable.

which plan specifically r u on?

      • Telstra 4GX home internet with 400GB per month (2021). The current equivalent plan says speed gets capped at 1.5Mbps, and slowed further in busy periods.
