After watching ObsidianAnt's recent video on this series (https://youtu.be/YCcaA1FAuAg), and as a Elite Dangerous fan, I got interested and started looking for deals.

Whilst not the cheapest for the base game, this includes the newly released EP Timelines. This Discovery Pack doesn't exist on Steam but individual prices are currently $36.75 (50% off) + $21.95. The Discovery Pack does exist on steam for $36.75. Thanks to Michael15286 for pointing it out.

Supposedly, the recent free update to the game introduced tutorials which makes the introduction to the game much easier for new players.

  The steam page for X4 has the same pack, X4: Foundations + X4: Timelines, for $36.75.

  Might be preferable for anyone who wants to have the game on Steam.

      Sorry you're correct. I misread GMG as GOG, the DRM free storefront haha. Only reason to buy through Steam then is so you can return it if you don't like it. But with a game like this, you're gonna need a lot more than 2 hours to know..

    You're right! I couldn't find the Discovery Pack on Steam in the search bar so I thought it didn't exist.
