Yeah but then I'd have to drink Heineken.

The real stuff isnt as bad as this, but yeh expect many up votes.

Authentic Dutch-brewed Heineken is delicious, the swill they produce here is horse piss.

Yep the same with Becks, Grolsch, Carlsberg etc .
Its hard to find the decent impoted stuff now.

    • Could be worse. Could end up with "Corona" bogan-juice

  • Brewed in Australia?

    • Will be.

    • Yup, CUB in Richmond iirc.

Dan's used to have the direct imported 500ml cans but I think even those are gone the way of the dodo.

      • Dans do have 500ml, but I usupect they are local.

not really a deal if you need to become a member for $25

  • +1

Cheaper to buy the 500ml cans from Dan Murphys, works out a bit less per litre, no shipping charge & no membership cost.

  • +3

    Premium lager lmao

Aldi sells Rivet Lager of 330ml x24 cans for about the half price which has the same 2-hour renal clearance.

    • +1

I think i would rate Rivet over this TBH, ALDI's Leo is pretty good, produced by Singha.

    • +2

Rivet is great, so clean and crisp. I like their Stella analogue too. If Aldi was allowed to sell booze in Qld…I'd be in trouble!

      • Can't get the st ettienne stella knock off any more in WA unfortunately.

        • +2

Not available in NSW either. It used to be 33.99, then the price went to $38.99. Then it went downhill, due to it being made in SAus instead of NZ (Heard from 2 employees). It stopped selling so they don't do it.

I had a pop up on the desk top site to sign up for the newsletter and get a $15 off first order

  • Thanks OP. It's an aquired taste. The 48 x 330ml is O/S

  • Fosters on special $75 for 2 cases. Less if a member.

  • Still waiting for order to be despatched from order 5/6.
They just want to get your money in and sit on it.
Might get order before expiry of beer in October. Will not use again poor business practices.
