On sale as part of EOFY for $1799.

It can be reduced to $1452 with monitor trade in ($100 off), 5% shop first time purchase and 10% loyalty discount code from Samsung support.

Steps:
1. Download the Samsung Shop app on your phone and set up a Samsung account to sign into. (5% off only applies to first time orders on the app)
2. Get in contact with Samsung support - I used the live chat function and just routed to the sales section,
3. Once in just ask about the loyalty discount and follow their instructions, I had to provide a photo of the model/serial number sticker on my TV (from 2008 lol) to get the loyalty discount code.
4. Go to the shop app and go to the 49" G9 OLED page.
5. Before you add the monitor to your cart, select "Yes, please" below the "Recycle your old monitor to get up to 100$ off".
6. Add to cart.
7. 5% shop app discount and monitor trade credit will be automatically applied. Just enter your custom loyalty discount.

I think this may be an all time low for this monitor /w the discounts.
It's currently on back order due to the volume of orders, mine is slated to ship July 7th.

    Kogan has them for $1506.60. Could price match at Officeworks and get 5% off?

      Officeworks doesn't have this model.

      What they do have are the SYLS49CG9S, which is at around $2100 at the moment and are like this but have the Tizen powered smart TV stuff; or the SYLS49CG95 at $1600 which is an LED model but with a 1000R curvature; The model I've listed is the non-smart version and has a 1800R curve (which I honestly feel is easier on the eyes).

    Has anyone done the physical trade in? Just curious on logistics given how big and heavy they are, and are there any other 'gotchas' when they come to collect it.

    I've got an old CHG90 (the original 49 incher from Samsung) which struggles in the cold (takes a while to turn on, lots of random coloured lines on black patches until it's warmed up) so might be worthwhile upgrading.

    Just got this deal.
    $1,452.64 including handing back a 3 year old Dell monitor I purchased during covid for $200!
    Hopefully the monitor is as good as the reviews claim
