Great price on this kit. No $100 store credit, though. You could price beat it at Bunnings though to bring it down to $449.10, if you don't want the bonus points.

Total tools will match the store credit offer of any competitor.

  • Is this kit better or worse than the one listed the other day:

    https://sydneytools.com.au/product/dewalt-dck2050h2txe-18v-5…

Which seems to be back at full price now.

    • this one, got a 6.0Ah and a 5.0Ah battery, instead of 2 x 5.0Ah and $50 less store credit.

  • This seems like a decent deal also - same impact driver, less powerful hammer drill, smaller powerstack batteries but $379.

Yes, I bought that kit last year. Also a good deal, and arguably better for most people if they don't do any drilling where they need the extra torque and a handle. The 1.7ah powerstacks are my favourite 18v batteries. They are perfect for smaller tools like the 850 and 805.

  • is Dewalt better or Makita?

    • +1

Some tools Dewalt is better, some tools Makita. Both are in the top tier of cordless tool brands. Dewalt is a lot more advanced when it comes to batteries, though. Dewalt tends to be better value as well, in my opinion.
