  Anyone have thoughts about this vs 7600? Online articles suggest 7600 is better unless you need the iGPU.

    The only thing I don't like about the 8600G is that even if you're not using the iGPU it takes up 4 PCIe lanes, leaving 16 total for GPU / M.2 SSDs instead of 20.

    May not be a big deal but bugs me since I always build with a dedicated GPU.

      The halved L3 cache is the biggest downside, with a noticeable effect on performance. If you're building with a dedicated GPU there's almost no reason to consider AMD APUs.
