          I'd be fuming if I paid RRP for this. Meanwhile, my Steelseries QcK that's basically the counterpart of this Razer is a year old with no signs of peeling.

    Bought this one for $5 in a PLE clearance, unfortunately even though it says it's soft, it's still rather hard. It's also not as thick as I was hoping. Ended up giving it away and I'm still using a 12 yr old Razer Goliath Control mousepad which I haven't found a replacement for (the surface is still fine surprisingly but the bottom edge keeps wanting to stand up which can be a tad annoying).
