RESCHS10

This week, we're running with 10% off all Resch's on Lasoo, using code RESCHS10 until end of month. Checked all other major sellers and Marketplaces, and it's not currently on sale anywhere else as far as I can see.

Reschs Pilsener is an iconic NSW working class mans beer. Originally brewed by Reschs until it was taken over by Tooth and Co in 1929, Reschs Pilsener is now brewed by Carlton & United and in recent years has revived its popularity with all things 'retro' coming back into fashion.

We do have various other codes running on other things around the site, so feel free to leave a comment if there's anything you would like me to try find best price on.

I bought a carton of these in March but they were $10 cheaper for the carton back then.

Yeah they were cheaper in the past. This, any many other beers have increased in value over the last year. Only thought it worth sharing as we appear to be cheaper than everywhere else currently.

        have increased in value

        🤣🤣🤣

        No they haven't…

Cost has increased, 'value' has decreased…

@jv appreciate the lesson. Thank you for your wisdom

          • @dmcain: yes increased in price

But if word gets out to the Reschs appreciation society in Qld, they'll bleed you dry.

  • More expensive & lower ABV than VB. Free shipping is about the only attractive feature, if you must buy this, but there are better value beers out there.

More expensive & lower ABV than VB.

      True, just stick to meths

But silver bullets are 100x better than a VB. No comparison.

    • Thankfully, most people don't just buy beer for it's price or alcohol content.

      • And here was I thinking this was a bargain forum where price was an important metric of value…

        • No one said it wasn't, but it doesn't have to be the deciding factor. You can save some dollars AND enjoy a good tasting beer simultenously.

          • @magic8ballgag: Come on now, it is the main reason deals get negged ("cheaper elsewhere"). I'm not doing that because I didn't look to see if it was cheaper anywhere else, just that it seems pricy by comparison, given both are mass produced.

            • @Ham Dragon: You were comparing two completley different beers, so if you can find the beer in this deal cheaper elsewhere, then by all means cast your vote.

Guess its the old Taste vs Cost debate. VB is definitely a love/hate kind of drop!

    • Not really a debate as you can get great tasting beers that are cheap and bad tasting beers that are expensive like the Aussie brewed "imported" beers like Stella, asahi, carlsberg etc.

    • It's always a cost debate on this site, for some members it is literally the only reason they buy anything.

  • Anomaly has ruined the word Pilsener for me.

    • Not even a true pilsner. You can't taste any saaz, let alone hallertau or hersbrucker.

    good ole Reckers silver bullets

  • Not good peeps. Not good. Meaning the beer. Watery rubbish. Flavourless, but "Fresh". Meaning, alcoholic water.
