Seems to have the specs I want for a good price. But all that google crap worries me. No way I'm connecing it to anything but power, speakers and HDMI. Bluetooth and Wifi hopefully can be turned off completely, I don't even want it pinging for signal. I've been quite happy with my 4k 60 Hz 43" Kogan TV for the last 5 years but I want something a bit bigger, brighter and 144hz variable refresh.
My main worry is what kind of experience I'll get if I don't want any of the 'Smart TV' crapolla.
I welcome for suggestions of a good alternative or if anybody has anything to advise in regards to how to have a good plain vanilla experience in the days of feature bloat. Doesn't even need to be able to pick up broadcast TV. Maybe a large monitor would be better but I suspect that's going to be more expensive. I just want to be able to turn it on and see my devices and not have to deal with some over bloated UI or need to have an account to use it.
