Can you bring this deal back? 150cm was less than $300 1.5 years ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/737481

Great desk by the way still using it

      Hi there!

Thanks so much for your feedback and support! We're thrilled to hear you're still loving your desk.

This is for our updated model. We're currently waiting on updated pictures from our design team to update the listing. This new version comes with two upgraded motors and stronger legs. While the old version with the 80kg frame is no longer available, the new Agile Frame can now handle up to 100kg! Plus, we've made it even easier to assemble the feet panel. Stay tuned for the updated descriptions soon!

Thanks again for being such a loyal customer!

I think the point was to bring it to sub 300 for the tax purposes

        • Hi there!

Thanks for your input! Could you please clarify what you mean by bringing it to sub $300 for tax purposes? We'd love to understand better for the Tax.

          Looking forward to your response!

          • +2

@Bargain Spreader: In Australia, you can claim office equipements like chair, table as full write off in the same year if purchase is less than $300. Your cheapest option after the discount is $301.28. So if you can do like $299, it will be much better for us and more sale for you.

            • @amsaini15: I see, thanks for explaining that. I believe this can be solved by separating the tax invoice into the product and delivery costs. This way, the product itself would be under $300, making it eligible for the full write-off. I believe the account team have no problem to do that from their end. Please leave a massage after the purchase if thats the case.

Thanks again for your helpful suggestion!

            • @superroach: Thanks for the link. I can confirm that separating the invoice will easily solve this. The shipping cost is an expense, and the desk is an asset. Please just eBay message our customer support team after purchase, and they'll assist you with this. The shipping is not cheap for desks.

              • +6

@Bargain Spreader: I think you can afford to drop it by $1.29.

                  • @Bargain Spreader: Ah, I'm with you.

If it was your website, then you'd be more flexible.

I'm loving my desk that I bought from you 3 years ago. Still going strong to this day. Want to get another one, but no rush. Will wait till bf!

                    • @lordra: Thanks for your support…

I really hope I can beat the price on our website…But cannot, according to their policy.
They are the cheapest Lazy Maisons Agile Series national wide. Guaranteed.

              • @Bargain Spreader: Is this separate to the eBay invoice?

                • @treefidi: Just use eBay massage ask the Lazy Maisons eBay support will do. Im not sure if eBay has invoice send or not. Some platform dont. You can always ask seller to issue one if you needed. such as amazon.

        • +1

Isn't the one they referring to is 150cm? So it should br 389.03 vs 284.10?

      • Even if the pictures are out of date, I think it'd help to update the text in your listing. There's nothing there that references a newer frame that supports 100kg.

        • The very first picture on the listing has 80kg on it. I guess it will make more people confused if we just update the text. Thats why we decided to keep the listing as is. No one will contact us to complain if they receive a better one. It is 100kg, new model with fast assemble feet.

seems insane not to make it under 300 for tax write off

    • im sorry. We cannot change the price during the eBay event. I believe this can be solved by separating the tax invoice into the product and delivery costs. This way, the product itself would be under $300, making it eligible for the full write-off. I believe the account team have no problem to do that from their end. Please leave a massage after the purchase if thats the case.

        Hmm 🤔

As a general comment I highly recommend Lazy Maisons. I ordered a desk about 1.5 years ago and it was delivered extremely quickly (possibly next day, I can't remember) in a Lazy Maisons branded van, which was a nice touch. The desk has been really good too but sounds like this is a new model.

    • +1

      +1 highly recommend

      • Agree. Bought one in 2022. Working well.
        Bought another one for wife.

        • Really recommend as well. Bought 3 of them and all working amazingly! Also I can vouch for their warranty, had a minor issue with 1 of them when was assembling, and then did doing a video call with them to try to figure out why it wasn't aligning straight. They had their technician come over the next day, and then gave me a replacement part when they couldn't fix it. Amazing service + warranty!

          • -2

@ian1095: Honestly that isn't a good sign, all that trouble… technicians, video calls, alignment issues, spare parts.. etc.

            "working amazingly" LOL

  • @Bargain Spreader

Are all the frames the same extendable frame? Eg. Is the frame in this specific deal (BK Frame +120*60cm White Top) adjustable to also suit a 150-160cm top?

  • Is there a smaller top model with 110cm?

    • Im sorry. 120cm is the smallest in out lineup.

  • Can anyone comment on these compared to the Artiss ones? I need to get 2 frame-only and the Artiss seem cheaper and faster motor,
    $285 each on Catch.

    • Maybe single moter?

    • or how about the Kogan single motor one for $169 for Kogan First? and comes to about $200 delivered for a single motor.

      • +2

That's very affordable. Give it a try. If it works for you, keep it. If not, consider trying our product.

      • I recommend avoiding single motor units when possible. If you have it on a soft surface such as carpet or a thick rug the legs can get out of alignment easily if one side settles even a very small amount more than the other. This causes the motor sensor to go into fault mode and you’ll have to do a full reset to get it working again. Further, being out of alignment means there’s more wear on the motor and gearing so it won’t last as long.

I’ve had one of the Lazy Maisons dual motor units for three years and never had any trouble, my daughter bought an Artiss single mother and is resetting hers every few months. We’re considering putting a sheet of ply or MDF under it just to stop it from doing that, or else upgrading to dual motor.

  • Looking for the 120x75 option, but couldn’t see that

    • Other than the 120 x 60 in white, 120 in other colours are 75 cm. There is no 120 x 75cm at the moment.

      • Did you mean to say there is no 120x75 in white at the moment?

        • Yes, thank you for clarifying that for me.

  • +1

Why is the frame-only option more expensive than the one with table-top?
Are they different / better frames?

    • I'm not sure about it.

I was informed that the desk is available at the deal price, but the frame isn't. You can disregard the top if you don't need it.

  • Op, interested in buying.

I don't have electrical drill, can I use normal screwdriver? Also do you have cable management/monitor arm options? or do I just purchase outside?

    Thanks!

  • Can I remove the feet and replace with my own if I want?

    • It depends on whether your existing feet can fit with our product. What makes your feet better? Could you share with us? This might help us improve in the future.

      • I have a project to build something and would use this desks frame and actuators etc, but probably change the feet. Would prefer options than not. Are the feet simply bolted into the bottom of the actuators?

        • I not sure about the new model. The old one is bolded into, the new one has the new fast assemble thing…It just landed this Friday. I have no information about it yet. Can you send your email to me, so I can ask the support team to take a photo of the join of leg and feet section for you on Monday.

        • If you're interested in a short-term project, feel free to contact us by phone or via the chat on our website at https://lazymaisons.com.au/

We have one or two display models(80kg old model) in our showroom that you might be able to purchase at a good price. They are no longer needed, I guess. These desks have been used only for demonstration purposes for about 3-4 years. Im not sure about the warranty on those demos.

Shipping is not cheap, better to go our showroom have a look then pick up by yourself.

    • What will you walk with then?

      • What will you walk with then?

        leg stubs

  • what's the main difference betwen these agile models and dual from your website here? Is it just the weight capacity 100kg (Agile) vs 120kg dual?

    • It all come down to warranty.

      Agile(100kg) Entry Level | #2 Stage #100kg Capacity #69-113cm Range | 5 Year Warranty !!!cannot op/ 10 year warranty,

      Dual (120kg) Mid Range | #Anti-collision #2 Stage #120kg Capacity #69 -113cm Range #Commercial Grade | Optional 10 Year Warranty at only $59

They are not made to the same standard. The Dual is much heavier than the Agile, as it is designed for commercial / high productivity office use.

If you're interested in the Dual, don't buy it from eBay. The official website offers a cheaper price, and there's an extra 10% discount available if you're a student or work in certain sectors. Pay attention on the top right section. For Education | For Healthcare | For Government. You or you must have a friend or family member whos in those lists. hahaha.

  • Highly recommend their product. Purchased one 4 years ago and still going strong! Controller is still responsive, motors are still quiet and the overall structure does not wobble at max height.

  • got this during BF 2022. Great, affordable standing desk. Highly recommend

  • Can you make it under $300 so it will be instant tax deduction?

  • +1

Shipping kills the deal in locations other then Syd/Melb.

    • Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear this. The cost of shipping is indeed very expensive, which is why we encourage customers to pick up their orders from our showroom in Melbourne. If you place an order from the Lazy Maisons official website: https://lazymaisons.com.au/, we have a bonus gift for you if you can pick it up yourself or arrange for your own courier.

Agile Series desk, eBay has the best offer so far. And we cannot beat it. Please buy from eBay if you are interested on Agile Series. For others consider buy from the Lazy Maisons official website: https://lazymaisons.com.au/. If you are in a remote remote area, please contact our support team by chat at the Lazy Maisons official website: https://lazymaisons.com.au/ or call us. They may have some better option. Such as picking up from courier warehouse near your town.

      • +2

I actually live near your braeside warehouse, can you tell me what this bonus gift is if I pick up the desk myself?

$256 with 10% signup coupon. Free delivery.

    • That's a very affordable single motor desk with 90-day return guarantee, but no warranty? Give it a try. If it works for you, keep it. If not, consider trying our product.

Lazy Maiosns have nothing less than Dual Motors

Even our entry-level model is equipped with dual motors, ensuring stability and durability for an enhanced standing desk experience. 5 Years Warranty at our entry-level model. Optional 10 years Warranty at only $59, at all other models.

I believe… The Agile Series is better in every aspect from the desk you are comparing…Only $50-$100 more in price… Why not Lazy Maions?

Or just use for before exam? then return it? or a new desk for every 90 days for only $256? hahahaha

      • Duly noted, thanks

  • Any options for 180cm x 80cm in the Agile series? Or do you have a desktop that fits those dimensions on an Agile frame please?

    • This is the Dual 180 x 75: https://lazymaisons.com.au/collections/standing-desk/product…

      Trio 180 x 75: https://lazymaisons.com.au/collections/standing-desk/product…

This available on official website only, and there's an extra 10% discount available if you're a student or work in certain sectors. Pay attention on the top right section. For Education | For Healthcare | For Government. You or you must have a friend or family member whos in those lists. hahaha.

      • Thank you, but looking at your website it doesn’t mention that these are the Agile frame, is that correct please? Thanks in advance.

        • They are Dual and trio frame which is the more premium option.
          Dual Series: Mid Range | #Anti-collision #2 Stage #120kg Capacity #69 -113cm Range #Commercial Grade | Optional 10 Year Warranty
          Trio Series: Top Spec | #Anti-collision #3 Stage #140kg Capacity #62 -127cm Range #Commercial Grade | Optional 10 Year Warranty

We do not recommend to install 180 top on agile frame.

          • @Bargain Spreader: Ah, right. Now I understand. Thanks for your quick response. That might be a little out of my price range at present, so I either go smaller or work out if I can afford the more premium option.

Thanks again for your help! Cheers.

            • @dman1: No problem. Please consider 150 x 75 in both Agile and Dual. Thats our best selling in the past. Some customers upgrade to Trio after or buy one more.

          • @Bargain Spreader: Alternatively I could go for 160cm x 80cm, however I suspect that might just be outside the Agile specs as well?

            • @dman1: Hi there,

I had realised 160 x 80 cm that s the max dimension that agile can hold. Lucky you.

  • Do you have any details on your recliner chair? I've been eyeing this for ages as a office gaming chair but just can't find any details or reviews apart from your website. Thanks

    • Thats clearance item which not really selling since 2021. Good price for the quality. Thats the lowest price the owner can do at the moment. No selling not bad. The stock may last just before Black Friday.

  • +1

I've had the larger 150x75cm dual motor one for over a year now,
    love the thing…
it's quick to go up and down, some days I don't realise i'm standing all day
    others, i just gotta sit!

I've genuinely grown about half an inch taller since using this desk!

    • +1

Exactly with me, some day you don't realize you are standing whole day.
Not sure about growing taller.. Lol

  • I like the look of this desk I need to join as an eBay premium member to get the deal. Anyone join for free keen for a link to get this deal and not pay to join

    • +1

NONFY20 Use this code. Just 2% less discount.

This one is 192 for 140 cm. Why would I pay 300 bucks for a similar desk. I can wait another 10 seconds for it to come up with the lack of dual motor.

    • You want the cheapest, you buy the cheapest!
you want a ford, you buy a ford
you want a VW, you buy a VW

I have the 150x75 dual motor lazy maissons desk, it's superb, VERY stable!
I have two 24" 4k monitors mounted, the top of them is about 190cm from the floor!

      mainly though
That desk looks like it's only up / down and doesn't have any easy memory,…I've found it useful to have at least 3 memory settings,
one 'sitting' - when the lowest is a little too low
one 'standing' when the highest is too high
and another middle setting where i use a fluffy footstool instead of a normal chair

i just hit 1,2,3 or 4 and the desk is at my favourite height

Also, it doesn't look like there's any adjustable feet on the bottom to help eliminate a bit of wobble on uneven floors.

and, finally - that desk only goes up to 115cm.
I'm 175cm and find the most comfortable working standing position is my desk at 117cm height

    • +1

      Hi there,

It is not just about speed. It is better overall. Even the metal sheets is thicker…Not the same thing. Have a try the 192 one eBay got 30 days return policy. If you dont like the 192 one, please consider us. Lazy Maisons Agile and dual awarded Gold metal by product reviews in 2024 for reason.

  • Thanks @Bargain Spreader. I just bought the 150mm walnut top and white legs. I've left a message at checkout for the invoice to be split for tax purposes. Just confirming that it won't be the 80kg one but the 100kg newest model instead? Cheers!

    • +1

Thanks for your support. No more 80kg model in stock anymore. 100kg models only from last Friday. The old one sold out about 7 days ago.

      • Awesome! Thanks:)

    • Did you have any luck with the split invoice from support?

      • Support team is busy on spliting invoices and Warehouse staff is busy at pick and pack at the moment.

      • +1

Hey! No, haven't heard anything back yet

        • They may missed your massge. Please remind them via eBay massage… They will fix it for you.

  • +1

Hi, assuming they are all 75cm unless otherwise stated?
Also, what is the cost of the shipping? Does it bring the 120x75cm to sub $300?
    TIA

      • Just trying to understand which ones gets you sub $300 for tax as per your suggestion on separating the shipping cost on invoice?

        Thanks

        • Oh, so sorry for the misunderstanding. Only 120 x 60 model can do. The cost for shipping is around $25 for this combo to Mel and Syd metro.

          • +1

@Bargain Spreader: @bargain I have asked the same on ebay but they are not sure how to do it. I got response back there is no shipping charge. Can you please guide them how to separate item price and delivery charge. So that item price is less than $300? Thanks

            • @amsaini15: Thanks for your update. They should had made few already after you pointed out. I had went through with them one by one earlier today.

              • @Bargain Spreader: Thanks I have messaged your team on ebay again. Hopefully they will be to send invoice after your time with them.

  • If only it was free delivery to Canberra I would have grabbed two.

  • do all the listings on the ebay link use the same frame?

If i have a desk top already can i just purchase the cheapest 120x60 model?

    • Yes. The link in this page is agile frame. You can get the 120 60 and use your own top. Please make sure your table top is not over 150 x 80 cm.
