How is this better than a stainless steel version at $10 that does the same job, cleans up hygienically with ease and lasts for years? I've had the same set for 12 years and replaced the rubber seal once.

IMHO this is just going to be groovy looking trash landfill in no time. FFS.

If you have to ask, then you probably don't need it.
For example, my $50 coffee strainer works just as well as my $2k Breville coffee machine :P

My OXO strainer (not stopper) has lasted about 8 years so far. Far superior to the stainless-steel version that comes with most kitchen sinks.

Wait, they sell those separately? I replaced the whole thing on mine, I had no idea🤦🏽

    Seemingly gone already :(

Was gonna take a punt at that price, replace the IKEA ones we have that for reason don't seal completely

      Yep it's gone :/

    • We have a silicone 'No Brand' one with inbuilt strainer. It doesn't seal completely either. We went back to a push in rubber plug and separate strainer. Not a drop gets lost to poor sealing.

  • Back in stock it appears :)

  • Oos for me here

  • Available again for the deal price, but on back-order.

  • This is back for $14!
