Was looking my next one after AC Mirage and came across Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves as a good deal for a game with great reviews.

This only has Uncharted 4 and its (standalone) expansion. Great game if you haven't played it. Feels like playing a modern day Indiana Jones movie.

Having played 1, 2, 3 on ps3, I felt playing 4 on ps5 years later to be a bit of a chore to get through. It wasn't fun to explore anymore and the collectables felt pointless.
I played 1 to 4 on ps4. Well worth it
Eh, just play Uncharted 2 if you want to get a feel for it. I did the first 3 but was totally sick of it half way though number 3 on PS3.
Gameplay is pretty mundane and relies on cinematics: hide in cover > have an "on rails" action/platforming sequence > enemy has somehow flanked you (even though the path in was destroyed) and have to hide in cover and shoot your way out. Rinse and repeat.
Uncharted 4 is one of the best games on Playstation IMO. Uncharted 2 is also pretty fun but that one is quite dated. 1 and 3 are ok but can be skipped.
This collection on Amazon is only 4 but easily worthwhile. One of the best stories around and some of the best gameplay available for this genre.
This Legacy of Thieves Collection is very playable and smooth, supporting 1440p high frame rate ~100hz. For this,the display needs to support 120hz VRR 1440p.
Does any other game come anywhere near as being the best for Playstation?
Serious question. I haven't played many games, but feel so spoilt by Uncharted 4, don't think anything else can match.
The Last of Us, Spider-man… those are the 2 other exclusives that I'd rste that highly.
I hated the first Uncharted. Felt like a rinse and repeat third person shooter disguised as something else. No story or explanation of anything. Very boring.
Cant believe they would make a sequel from that. Glad they did though as I actually really enjoyed the second one. Even though its frustrating at times still is good fun and has a bit of everything. With the train scene being a real standout.
3 I found similar to the 1st, awful story and extremely frustrating. 4 is quite brilliant and deserves to be up there with some of the best games ever made. Graphics even put most of todays games to shame, great story and gameplay with lots of variety. Some of the scenes and gameplay are jaw droppingly good. The Lost Legacy with Chloe Frazer is surprisingly great too. I enjoyed that almost as much as 4. Take away Uncharted 1 and 3 and the rest are amazing games to play.

And I've already paid for GTA 5 more times then I can remember. I don't want mine for free, everyone should at this point get what is essentially an MMO funded from micro transactions for free.
I played this on a 4K 60hz screen.
Amazing game, but 60hz is not good for it IMO. Lots of blur.

To anyone considering getting into the Uncharted series from scratch - you can definitely skip the first game. Just watch a 10-min youtube recap montage or something. Uncharted 2 was the first masterpiece. 3 expanded on it with more ridiculous stunts, 4 is a lot more of a cinematic story vibe - kinda like GOW 2018 and TLOU, but with classic Uncharted action.
