Great price. Not a fan of the colour.

    • -4

All the major pram brands colours are awful. So boring and gender neutral it is painful.

      • Use a pink one for a boy?

TBH, once kid can sit. Nothing beats a good small fold up like a mountain buggy or bugaboo bee

    • +3

Experiencing life as a sleep deprived parent I am all for ugly bold colours now. Anything that helps what you're looking for stand out and requires fewer precious mental resources. Phones cases, luggage, anything to do with baby, bring it on.

  • +4

Wow that's an insane price if you don't mind the colour. It was difficult to find a bargain on this pram when we bought ours last year.

We previously had a redsbaby which worked well, but if you have the budget (~3x price) I'd recommend this. Feels better pushing this with our 2 kids over the redsbaby with 1 kid.

  • Ohhhh maaaaaan. I just bought ours (Grey) for $1400 with a Changing Bag, Organiser and Adapters….

    • Could you share, where to get this price for grey? Here or PM, please.

      • Baby Bunting save 15% when you spend XXX amount a few months ago.

        • Ahh, makes sense. Thank you. My partner told good price, but she didn’t like the colour :D

  • Does this come with two seats and a bassinet?

Have been waiting for redsbaby nuvo double sale.

    • Nah. The rumble seat is an additional item

      • Thank you. Researching now!

This was always out of price range, but this makes it much more doable.

        • Get it! We just got ours (Grey Colour) for $1400 and I thought that was a steal.
For the price, it's an amazing pram!

          • @tempestswitch: Do the rumble seats often go on sale?

Even at retail. It’ll be $1400 with the second rumble.

            Done.

            • -2

@Owgasm: Have seen rumbleseats on sale at Bubs and Grubs previously, have not purchased from them before though.

            • @Owgasm: It's usually always around $300. Best I've seen was it for $250 but you had to spend minimum $1000 or so.

But for $1400 as a 2 toddler pram that's ready to go, that's insane.

You don't have to get the 2nd seat until the 2nd child it out of the bassinet. Just make sure you get the upper + lower adapters when you are using it in dual mode.

              • @tempestswitch: Thank you. Checked out!!!

Second baby due any week now.

                So just to clarify.
Will have to buy rumble + upper and lower adapters which are all separate?

                • @Owgasm: The upper adapter comes for free as part of this deal.

Its added to cart when you add the pram

                  • @amityaaron: Ah yes. Thank you.
Just noticed on the invoice. Was too excited and didn’t want it to sell out.

                • @Owgasm: So lower adapters allow you to use 2x seats at once. The upper adapter simply raises/creates more room for the single seat/bassinet and creates room for the 2nd seat

                  • @tempestswitch: Ah thank you! So only if needed, so finding a good deal on the rumble is all we need.
Do you know if the canopy from the bassinet is removable and can be put on the rumble? (So it’s matching with a future rumble)

                    • @Owgasm: No too sure if the canopy section is removable.. I know it can unzip to allow airflow.
Sorry I would check now but it's in the wife's car boot at the moment

                      • @tempestswitch: All good! Thanks for all the info. I’ll suss it all out once I receive it, seems this Melange colour isn’t stocked/discontinued, so just seeing what options there are for the future rumble.

                        • +1

@Owgasm: No stress! Good luck with the 2nd bub!

You can always change it up and grab a Grey/Dark Blue coloured seat!

  • Great price. Will be interesting if they honour the price with the coupon code as the T&Cs exclude any other offers (which I would assume includes the promo code).

    • Then they should have made sure you couldn’t use another coupon. That’s their problem and they should have to honour the price.

      • +15

If they’re associated and said this. It means it will be honoured right? Haha

    1. Good price

    2. Ban should be longer

    • -5

Agree. Why even banned in the first place??

  • tsk tsk OP

Never have I seen a sock puppet deal re-uploaded

    • +8

I guess to be fair, it is extremely rare for sockpuppet deals to be even remotely good deals

  • -1

What a deal. Last year we had to fight this as a group and it was Always $1500..

    Is v3 coming?

    • Yep V3 is coming to stores later this year so I expect many deals on the V2 coming soon.

  • +3

Lols how do mods work out of they're associated? Always been curious about this hiayaaa

    • +11

They send JV out to each OP with a clipboard and a set of questions

    • +6

They are Jedi and, using the force, they see how all things are connected.
Translation: there are tools & techniques used at multiple layers. Stuff like network traffic analysis (eg IPs), browser fingerprints, user activity (recent join, new deal post) and others. Not in best interests for any site admin to disclose them in detail, given those seeking to circumvent will adapt.

  • Fantastic price. We paid about $1800 for the V2 set + rumble seat, it's an awesome pram.

Also, super wholesome 'parents of OzB' thread.

  • +6

thanks OP saw this deal and immediately got some condoms, baby stuff expensive asf.

    • +1

That is the truth! I just got all my baby stuff second hand or hand me down . It blows my mind that people are willing to spend this much on a pram. Mind you, I spend money on beer which isn't a tangible product.

  • Hi any deals on a smaller traveller pram like the butterfly. Cheers

  • -3

Surprised no warning for first time offenders, just straight up on site execution for the whole family

  • Could anyone please recommend a good baby travel system.
    TIA

      Your mum

      • +1

        I mean actually though lol
Having a babies grandparent(s) travel with you is mostly awesome

        • +1

          Yeah whooshed a few people

      • you missed out on using Joe.

  • Whether this is a good price or not, the profit margin must be at least 100%

  • +1

As a cheaper alternative, I can recommend the Edwards & Co Oscar M2 which goes on sale for ~$750 from time to time (and even cheaper if you can get Baby Bunting to price beat). It was the pram that ticked all our boxes after having used ones like the Baby Jogger City Elite 2 previously.

  • +5

We bought all our prams 2nd hand in good condition. 1k is crazy.

  • noone having kids because of cost of living crisis?

  • +2

Why are these so expensive? Because parents must buy one, regardless?

    • It's just like luxury bags, lots of snobbery and marketing mark-up.

A friend of mine got 3 kids, first kid got the high end bugaboo , second kid got uppa ,and the latest kid got 2nd hand baby jogger mini GT. He said the mini GT was the easiest to manuever (3 wheels), push, fold/unfold and can accommodate bigg kids better. They said it can accommodate 2 of the oldest kids sleeping together in it.

    • +3

      Why are these so expensive

      Coz they can.

Parents don’t need to splash out this much , but if you can afford it it does make life a bit easier than using a cheaper option. Ymmv

  • I just tried the code, it doesn't work, has anyone else experienced the same?

    • Looks like it doesnt anymore

    • +1

      codes working again

  • +1

If anyone is looking for a great pram in this price range I cannot reccoment the Edwards and co "Oscar" enough.

Excellent kiwi made at a very reasonable price.

  • Thanks OP!

  • +2

For anyone who doesn't care about the brand and wants a good pram, we ended up buying this one and would strongly recommend: https://liinii.com.au/products/stealth-pram

We gave it a spin at the Pregnancy and Baby expo in Sydney and compared to the more expensive alternatives, it ticked several boxes for us:

    1. The price was good, similar to the deal they have going on at the moment.
    2. Auto brakes are an excellent feature for first time parents who may accidentally forget to apply brakes on gradients.
    3. Very comfortable bassinet and main seat, with good quality fabrics.
    4. Good overall suspension - most expos will have you try out the ride with a small teddy or the like. We chose to use a half filled plastic bottle of water standing up unsupported to see how often it fell on large bumps, and to see how much the water moved on the smaller undulations. In the end it was either the Liinii or a $3k pram (can't remember the name).
    • These look really nice, are they a new company? We're on the lookout for a nice looking pram for our first arrival soon. Was looking at the Bugaboo Dragonfly or the Thule Shine, but the Liinii look good too - but the lack of review content or much information makes it a bit hard to make a decision.

      • +1

I think they've only been around for a couple of years but I'm not sure to be honest.

If you live in a city where they present at expos, trying one first hand is the best way to judge if it suits your requirements.

Biggest draw for us was the suspension and auto brakes.

        • Yeah we just had the PBC Expo here in Brisbane but I didn't see this particular brand there :-(

  • Try again, i tried and code worked.

  • +1

    404 ERROR!

  • We ended up very recently buying this one for our little one :

Usually much cheaper than the uppa baby vista v2

    https://babybeeonline.com/products/duo3-black

I would have pulled a trigger on UPPA VISTA v2 at this price .

Anybody receive a dispatch email yet? Skeptical whether they will honour orders.

    • Nothing yet.
I ordered mine a few mins after the post was created too.

I was wondering the same thing

      • +1

Same here, still haven't seen any dispatch notification.
