Of course protests are always just a fad and die off after a while. It's been a long time since we've seen the Syrian conflict masses among countless others.

I buy a lot of the small glass Schweppes soda water bottles to use with my own cordial or cocktails. The large 1.5l bottles go to waste.
These soda streams seem like a good alternative to the waste of all the individual glass bottles.
Anyone have a recommendation for one? Would prefer to have glass bottles instead of plastic too, to keep my large taint
Only ones with glass bottles are the Crystal (discontinued, but sporadically available) and the Duo which can do glass or plastic bottles
Highly recommend getting a larger CO2 cylinder and adaptor kit such as the one from KegLand
+1 for kegland. however it's been more than 2 months since they sold out some connectors(72inch one).
hope they restock them soon.

I bought mine on sale at Costco and absolute love the look and performs better than Sodastream.
I also sometimes use the Philips gas canisters which are interchangeable with Sodastream and are much cheaper from the Good Guys or Myers at $12-19 bottle when I havent refilled my larger CO2 bottle.It’s like three times the price lol.

The regular Pepsi is basically their old Cola syrup. The Pepsi Max is much closer to the real deal.
Made some tonight and I think it's actually better than Pepsi in a bottle!

Regular pepsi tastes weird and nothing like the bottled version. Pepsi max is very similar to the bottled but will have differences in concentration and fizziness.
Reminds me more of the Pepsi you'd get at a takeout place or Costco (from those refill machines). I usually get the Pepsi Max versions and it's decently close to the original. Especially when very cold
