Fantastic reminder, thanks! Note you need to change your shipping method to pick up first and then put the code in.

      • Hey guys, is this a targeted code? I have changed to a pick up locker first but it wont accept the code. Thanks.

        • +1

I didn't think so, I didn't have any pop up or anything for it just used it.

          • @theknight27: Thanks mate, not sure what im doing wrong. Tried everything and i keep getting the this code cant be applied to your order message.

  • Has anyone had any luck with returning a controller to Amazon within warranty due to stick drift?

    • +1

haven't done a return for a controller but many other things and it was always easy just jump on the chat and say the controller isn't working correctly.

    • Have returned a fair few to Microsoft. Easy process and quick turnaround.

They should be using hall effect instead of pentometers.

Was able to pair with google chromecast and play xbox live games on wifi.

Note : I'm a gamer with skills equal to 2 year old , always last in car race game. So can't speak about latency of the controller. But i was couldn't see any visible lag, I'm on 50/15 NBN speed.

Also have mine connected to the Fire Stick 4K max and using steam link app. It's been a game changer

      • +1

Does this allow you to play Steam games on a TV? Like Geforce Now.

        • Yes. Recommend having your firestick connected via Ethernet cable to minimize latency

    • Recently have been using sunshine host on PC + moonlight client on chromecast to play baldurs gate 3 split screen coop via wifi on 100/20. Absolute blast.

  • Already drifting with 2 years of light usage. Meanwhile my ps3 and ps4 controllers which were abused, still alive.

My Ps5 controller (first gen) right trigger is dead, so this gen controllers have worse QC? Or I got lemons

    • My Series X controller when I bought the console is still going strong and I do at like 5-10hrs a week most weeks since launch in 2020. Luck of the draw I guess.

    • +1

I smash my controller hard on Fifa and it's get no stick drift yet all my ps controllers drift within months since ps3 days.

Maybe luck of the draw. 2 years is pretty good.

    • All regular analogue sticks have chance of it happening, that's just the limitation of their design. It's the same thing with burn-in and oled screen. Not a matter of if, but matter of when.

The only controller with actual design flaw is the Nintendo joy stick.

This is why third party controller makers makes the hall effect sensors their front and center of their marketing materials, as it's less prone to drift or dead zones
