Well, for me PES has far better gameplay and more competitive
The huge downside from PES, they don't have licenses for epl team (other than man united) and some other European leagues
You have to download option savedata file and copy them to your ps3

FIFA hold license for all teams but you have to pay for some dlc like euro or season pass
No offence, but i think FIFA outsell PES because kids like FIFA more (they target more audience)
If you're looking for just a game and have some fun, FIFA might better choice for you (easier to score) but for soccer experience and competitive play, I would recommend go with PES
Fifa 13 is not easy to score. Can't speak on PES, but Fifa this year is very realistic, certainly the best version ever.
Last game, I bought was FIFA 12 which was easier for me compared with PES 12, can't speak on FIFA 13 as well, I heard they got huge improvement, but the player stats/rating doesn't really effect their performance, is it true?

Yeah they're pretty much all cheaper compared to here. But no, this is certainly not the regular price, its a very cheap deal even by UK standards.
