  • Looks like it's only one-off discount for new customers. Worth mentioning it in the title.

  • Does anyone know if international calls are included in that $19.90?
And any cancelation fee if I decided to port out from amaysim?
I'm so sick of virgin's as I sometimes can't make call out or receive calls. I'm with them for over 2 years now and this problem is still persistent. I know amaysim uses the same Optus network but I just hope amaysim will have a better coverage…somehow

    • International calls can be made with the Flexi credit and the rates are much more reasonable than some other carriers. Says so in the T&C: Or your $19.90 credit can be used across any other amaysim service, including international calls- it’s super flexible. International calls are not included in the Unlimited. No charge to leave. But it's the same Optus network so you may not see any improvement with your area and/or phone. You might want to double check this rather than hope.

      • thanks for the reply. then it sounds a good deal.
yeah im been comparing between Amaysim and Vaya, more or less they are the same. I've just heard that one of these optus network resellers has more towers than the others? or say more ports allocated?

        • It would be an interesting rumour if true, but I suspect that if they wanted to do that, it would be easier in software. Maybe it's to do with the bands supported by your phone and the frequencies used in your area?

        • i think it's the network or the area, not the phones. i think I'll give amaysim a try.
          thanks greenpossum!

        • oh btw does anyone know if there is a P&H/postage fee when I sign up?

        • free P&H for the sim

  • Sorry for all the Amaysim referrals.

StartHere is giving out $50 cashback which is heaps better than the $10 you get from clicking on their referral links :) Buckscoop is also doing the same. Use the cashback site wherever you can!

    • I remember a buckscoop admin commenting that you would need tto stay a minimum of 3 months with amaysim to get the cashback. If you intend not to stay for 3 continuous months, $10 referral credit would suit you better
