after reading reviews on amazon i thought i'd give them a try. at about half the normal price for size 12.5 US at $110.73. I thought id give them a shot. seems really durable and long lasting. not waterproof, but breathable and fast drying they seem. good for rough steep terrain, in dry weather maybe probably…

im normally size 12 US but that has felt tight on some boots lately.. so going to give 12.5 US a shot, and see how it goes….

only size 13.5 US Women/12.5 US Men at this price, other sizes are around double the price… heard the Garmont NFS are really good for flatter terrain, will keep my eye out for them to go on sale to try them out.

  Went through 2 pairs of these many years back. Kind of disappointing longevity out of both. Also (from memory) they are really heavy compared to everything I’ve worn since. I have much preferred Merrells and now Under Armor

    My fav boots so far are the underarmor but i havent tried many boots before. They're so comfortable

      So I have a bone spur on my left foot. Every combat boot I’ve ever worn has been hell for a week minimum (until it moulds to my foot a little). Except the Under Armors. They are just supremely comfortable out of the box.

      I HIGHLY rate the Merrells too. I live in my boots and have done some pretty nuts hikes in them. And they have held up the best (too early to call on the Under Armors). The only reason I had to retire the Merrells is because I literally wore through the tread and the sole all the way to the foam.

      Do not buy Bates. Had a pair for ONE month and the back of them blew out, falling apart in other places, AND gave me a case of plantar fasciitis that took 6 months to heal (and as as a runner, I had to switch to cycling for a time. Was very frustrating!)

  the shoes finally arrived for me.. size 12 fits tight for me normally, so i ordered these 12.5… they were tight at first.. but after loosening the laces abit, they feel SOO comfortable, whilst wearing dress socks.. I absolutely love them!!! most comfortable boot ive ever worn with dress socks.. mostly because it fits so well and this is the first time i've tried size 12.5..

  though i'm thinking wearing thicker socks may feel too tight on 12.5 and i might need size 13 next time to give the extra room for them.

  i need to try them with thick socks on and see what they feel like is my next test..

  they look thick and chunky and do feel abit clunky on flat surfaces like concrete, but on grass or soil they probably feel amazing! and with soo much grip! so happy i ordered these.
