HEYICONIC20

The Iconic has a sale on footwear at the moment and found these Birkenstocks pretty cheap. Normal retail is $241 for the oiled leather with the soft food bed (more comfortable than the regular base I think. Works with the $20 off new user code posted earlier this year even with a pre-existing account I already had.

Sizes EU 36, 37, 38, 39 available at time of posting.

If buying 2 pairs, can use the $50 off $250 spend to get it even cheaper.

I hope more people wear this so I can look at their feet

Got these to wear at home.
Yes they are decent, but no way in hell they're $200 retail quality, maybe $100 standard price.
Would not cop with this price ever.

    • Where do you get leather ones for $100? Keen to try some others if there's some you recommend.

Sorry - no way they're WORTH $200. They should be priced at $100 STANDARD retail.
I've switched to slides for indoor. Outdoor i wear sneakers. My company works w/ NB and so i got a code for 20-25% off anything on their official website (full price only - no US/UK made) <;)

    • Would you say someone with flat feet could walk in these all day while travelling?

      • +1

the sole is quite hard, not sure if that helps? They're comfortable but not for all day walking imo.

        • Thanks, it seems near impossible to find a sandal that's not going to destroy me haha

          • @neo: Unfortunate. If someone has any ideas and is a product designer, i can set you up with a factory anywhere in China and arrange samples / start it up. Help a fellow ozbargainer (Neo).

          • @neo: I am flat too but i thought the idea is we need to wear something with high arch regardless of how painful our feet will be.

            • @CyberMurning: Exactly!

Every one I have found that has arch in it has a terrible sole that's synthetic = yuck

              • @neo: Can you recommend a good one for people with flat feet? Or maybe a good insole?
                @shaidas

      • +1

No they do not have arch support so do not help with flat feet and you cannot put inserts into sandals

          • @CyberMurning: Nah sorry..I bought a Birkenstock ..did not work.. hence my comment … I don't think arch support is a priority in the sandal and the flip flop world. I am yet to find one.. if you do please share..I must qualify my statement.. I have custom made arch supports for shoes without which I cannot run..walking at normal pace is not that much of a probllem depending on how much I walk.. your situation may vary.

    • pretty fancy for just house shoes

I just wear sheepskin slippers in winter and slides in summer

  • RRP $241 for sandals?!
