For $2, definitely.
Apple pie is also great combined with soft serve.
Or vanilla thickshake
Yeah, haven’t had a pie from maccas in ages. May just pinch one on shift 🤣
Love the apple pie
Sux it only single use though
Deep fried sweet pastry always tastes good.
I have this memory when I was drunk don’t remember where it was but fish and chips shop in the middle of nowhere. my memory literally just sees this fish and chips shop in the dark of midnight surrounded by black in all directions 😂.
and the menu had deep fried mars bar and kitkats.
even though drunk I didn’t order one, kinda regret I didn’t try it.
so regular coffee is $2 and apple pie is $2 only if you download the app make account and let them mine all your datas.
shouldn't it be that kind of price in the first place? how much is regular coffee normally in store like $4? (edit google says it's $5.20)
Looks like it is $2 on the normal menu for limited time to coincide with the minion banana caramel promotion
Had the banana pie was pretty decent
Coffee at $5.20 is crazy. I use my points to get a free coffee
They should do more $2. Coffee deals
They have humans making them don't they? Probably a floor on how much they can charge. Though I wonder why they don't use a barista machine. The human making the coffee is trying to do it exactly the same hundreds of times a day, trying to make it a decent coffee, why can't a machine do that? Maybe minimum wage for a human barista is still cheaper than the machine, if it could exist, in the long run.
Probably a floor on how much they can charge.
Yeah but even a sit down cafe using their own premium beans in the city only charged me $4 for a coffee.
Was miles ahead of Macca's coffee and cheaper too. Macca's breakfast menu is just the biggest piss take. Almost $12 for a tiny McMuffin, hash brown and small coffee.
there is no reason why they cant get an automatic machine to make the coffee. They have a soft drink machine that is automated.
There is a fully automated restraunt in america that just opened. Maccas are moving towards this model. I believe they do have one in america
not long till it comes here
I have an aero press at home that can make a coffee in under a minute.
It makes coffee just as good as maccas
I think a machine has to be able to do it better too. A machine could also be set to dump and remake a coffee if it sees that the milk isn't the right kind of silky or the extraction was off compared to what it has been making all day. Maybe people will pay extra for human ones though, the image of the expert barista making great coffees that no machine ever could?
@AustriaBargain: if you think that the 16 year old making your coffee in maccas actually care then you are the target market for them.'
The coffee is very inconsistant at maccas sometimes its worse then instant.
If I had the choice of $2 machine coffee I would take it all day long
@snapper17: I've stopped caring about the quality of coffee from my own machine. I've never dumped milk or coffee because it didn't come out right.
@AustriaBargain: try an areopress they are $50 and much easier to use and clean then a machine. Also very consistant taste provided you measure the coffee. I just use the scooper provided.
I had an Apple pie today, and the McSmart Meal. Not a bad lunch deal for $8.95.
Thanks OP
Pity they don't still have the custard & raspberry pie - they were great.

Are the maccas pies any good?
