Planning a family holiday for July 2024.. I know it’s wet season but we want to visit Thailand during our leave

What’s the best flight to get? Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on who to avoid/ book with?

Unfortunately I missed the funny part that you were desperately aiming for .. but here’s one for trying “😂😜😭🤣💪”

Anyways, to anyone else .. I’m not after prices. Im just after experiences in regards to comfort etc.

The best airline according to a quick google search is Qatar Airlines.
Using Qatar Airways, you can book a flight from Sydney to Qatar, but I am unable to find such a flight from Qatar to Phuket or Bangkok
Singapore Airlines has this option, please provide a payment method for us to charge you our search fee

    Define Best Airline

    • Yeah was probably vague .. just best in your experience as far as comfort/ price

We will fly Economy but wondering if jerstar/ Singapore/ qantas etc is a better choice

        Singapore airlines from BNE

        • I’ve heard a few people say Singapore airlines is worth the extra 💰

        • You'll need deep pockets to fly BNE- HKT with Singapore Airlines in July.

        • Singapore Air flies BNE-SIN in their flagship Airbus A350-900, well worth doing if you can find a reasonable price.

What does google say? Try searching the route and see what few options you have available for direct flights.

    • Yeah I think the quickest way is Jetstar ..

For about 1k extra, I can get Singapore airlines from Brisbane however I’m not sure it’s worth it

Would love to hear peoples experiences on either flight

What's your budget? How do you want to fly, low cost or full cost carrier? Would be happy paying 1k extra for a meal and better service? There's your answer.

        • Yeah true .. I’m guessing legroom etc would be fairly similar. Comfort would be my biggest concern. I’m pretty tall lol

I can live without the meal & I could deal with only average service

  • I imagine Singapore Airlines' first class is probably the best option. I imagine it wouldn't be cheap though.

Oh, not that best you say. What is best for you? Airline? Meals? Safety? Legroom? Timing? Price?

  • My 'Best Flight' and your 'Best Flight' are probably two very different (being subjective) things, especially with a full list of your parameters, although any flights in my budget and date range are 'the best.

  • Didn’t jetstar just launch bne-hkt direct?

From 13th December, its direct from Brisbane to Bangkok

  • Search with Skyscanner multi-leg. Try BNE or OOl -> SIN -> HKT Avoid JETSTAR Neo planes - they are awful.

  • So I’ve booked ..

Managed to get return Singapore airlines on the airbus A380 for just under 6k for 4 of us

And that’s choosing extra leg room seats to & from Phuket
