Looking for Cheapest OLED TV Deals

I'm in the market for an OLED TV (40 to 55 inch is fine) but it seems like they seldom go on huge markdowns - anyone know where I can search/browse for older OLED models as those tend to be sold at clearance prices? Primary use is going to be gaming for my PS5 and occasional movie watching

What have you found so far?

    • I've seen B4 and C4 from LG as I think they are the market leaders in this segment but mostly they are between the 2k and 3k price point, just trying to check if there are any older models like perhaps the C3 or B3 from last year

      • really hard finding new older generation tvs. Most are sold cheap when new models come in

        • really hard finding new older generation tvs

Often because they stop supporting the TV's software…

        • So it seems my best bet for cheaper deals are to get when newer models come out I suppose? If memory serves me right TV units are refreshed mostly during March and April

          • @Jty05: Well, you pretty much need to keep your eye on Ozb or do your research. As soon as the new model comes, they get rid of the old. Sony even tried to get rid of excess stock by saying “Box damaged”. Good luck.

Burned in ones ship from Scumtree
not so cold ones pop up on fbmp.

  • Sony sells seconds, refurbs and “box damaged” units on eBay - which usually come down to a reasonable price when there’s a 20/22% coupon running…. But, you’re not really dealing with brand new anymore - so up to you if it’s worth it

Costco has good deals and clearances on TV's. When I was in market for 65 inch OLED, I bought Philips 706 model (same panel as LG CX/C2 series). In Sept 23, price for this TV here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/766027 was $1600. pulled trigger. Samsung TVs have been getting closer, but havent seen at 1600 yet since.

Also for ref, Sony A80K for $1750 in March 23 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/764584. So bargains to be had for OLED, if you wait and search hard enough.

Even including price of Costco membership, is worth it.

    • Seems like it is a matter of waiting and finding a proper deal - thanks for this! Gives me a proper idea of market going rate
