  What's everyone's opinion on grained food for dogs? Generally I only buy grain free food for my GSD.

    Typically aim for low grain and low fat percentage when buying dry food. I am pretty mindful what I give my dogs they have never eaten tinned only fresh. They don’t eat a lot of dry food in general just as a top up filler for our food bag corgi . A bag this size lasts a long time. But also aware times are tight for many and there may be a need to pay a little less or get a little less to ensure a dog is fed :).

    I'd say it depends on your dog's requirements. Grains are carbs and some dogs (who are sedentary) can gain a lot of weight. If you have a working or performance dog, they'll need those carbs for energy. Some may have food allergy or intolerance to certain grains.
