What's The Difference between These Two Apple MacBooks

I may be slightly stupid, but I was trying to wrap my head around the difference between these two products.

I was interested in a MBP M3 16gb 1TB in space grey and I just found two different model numbers?

MXE03X/A and Z1C80004X

Any thoughts?

    What do I win?

  • Z1C80004X doesn't sound like a standard Apple product name. Either it's a non-AU stock (unlikely) or it's a designation provided by the distributor for some reason and entered as a different SKU (likely since it's across multiple AU-only retailers at the same price point).

In theory, should be the same. Call the retailer in the morning to confirm. Better yet, get a price-match at Apple direct for the cheaper one.

    • Z1 are for custom config.

      • So I guess that’s why they’re more expensive?

  • The pictures of the MXE03X/A are odd. That model should only have two Thunderbolt ports, but it's pictured with three.

  • Looks like a pricing error, the lower price is for 512GB SSD
