iScoot has instore savings (Apollo Ghost $1499)

I don't this qualifies as a deal so I'm just throwing it in the forums.

I went to buy a scooter from iScoot in Underwood yesterday. Their website has the Apollo Ghost on sale for $1799. When I got there it was $1499 - which is almost as cheap as buying it direct from the manufacturer on Alibaba - and cheaper than a lot of people are trying to sell them second hand.

So, if you're looking for a scooter I can recommend these guys, they were super helpful, and they might have better prices in person than they list on their website - so it's worth asking.

  • Was that with hydraulic brakes? Is it possible to ride it home with the charger and any other accessories it comes with in a backpack?

That was with cable brakes. $200 extra for hydraulic brakes IIRC, so you may as well just buy them aftermarket. I know hydraulic brakes feel nicer, but cables have just as much stopping power I think - just a more agricultural activation.

Mine had a mostly full battery when I unpacked it. It does require some assembly but all the required tools are in the box (and it only takes a few minutes to assemble - don't pay the assembly fee). There's a lot of cardboard and styrofoam after unboxing, but if you can get them to dispose of that then there's no reason you couldn't put the charger, tools, and manual into a backpack.
