I found out yesterday that the Australian Mint are releasing Bluey Dollar Bucks! $1 coins in a set of 3. I missed out on the ballot and can't find any to buy after a quick google as the coin sites last night said out of stock, so maybe they're waiting to get them from the Mint.
I'd love to buy a set and keep it as an investment - and for fun!

Why did you expect someone down the line to be interested in something like that that?
I can easily see a few people out of the millions that are growing up with Bluey becoming collectors and being interested in collecting these coins for childhood nostalgia when they're older. This isn't unprecedented, we have seen it with TCGs and video game collectors, and gacha whales.
Although I would rather they print more and they become widespread and available instead of a rare memorabilia.

You're probably out of luck as they are all sold out at the Mint. There is however another release of $1 coins coming, most likely as a roll. These won't be coloured though like the current release.
any assigned to retail stores would already have been scooped up by regular customers, and the mint ballot is done.
I was thinking of buying some to sell to clients to give to their customers as prizes. But you can't even order them. Wish they would make a million of them and release them over 12 months so they wouldn't be rare and everyone can enjoy them.
