Once you use a flat clinch stapler, it's hard to go back to a normal one.

What is so good about a fat clinch stapler?
I'm guessing the stapled corner doesn't bend up like a wave when many staplings are piled on top of each other.

There are ones with a swivel mechanism.
Have you used Bostitch staplers? They also have flat clinch but they also have springs or something that assist in stapling so its easy to staple multiple pages.
