If you are travelling to France the Europe SIM actually has access to more networks and all of them have 5G access. The standalone France eSIM only has 4G connectivity.

You can only purchase 1 eSIM per transaction. If you need multiple, you will need to place separate orders. This is a current system limitation for the automatic fullfilment.

  • USD or AUD?

    • AUD, is your shop showing USD? Maybe you have a VPN on?

  • Any deals for physical sims?

    • Sorry we dont sell physical sims.

So many better value offers available elsewhere

    • We try and offer the best value possible by offering quality SIMs that you can rely on. 24/7 support also has a cost. So for us we see the value in the quality of the product and support. We are also based in Australia so of course we are not looking to go against companies located in Europe. Thank you for sharing your view though.

  • Dumb question (I am new to esim), I only need 15 days for Europe, so I will buy 2 eSims for 7 days. But I need to activate before the trip? If thats the case, I can only use one eSim?

    • +1

So each 7 day SIM will give you 1GB. You could purchase one 30 days sim and get 3GB.

But if you want to buy 2 sims you can activate when you are in Europe. You dont have to install it before you leave. You will just need to be connected to wifi when you activate it.

Grumble gumble, this is not OzAdvertise.

Poor value, lets use Ubigi (just one example but one I prefer based on reputation), they have a 10GB France eSim 30 days for US$9= A$13.50 (buy two for 20GB for AU$27 and it's still cheaper than the above).

Additionally Ubigi is owned by the NTT group (major reputable Japanese telco) and they also support 5G on both the SFR and FreeMobile networks (two of the four french networks).

    • Thanks for sharing your feedback. No this is not OzAdvertise, but as a small Australian business, I have as much right to post offers here as a reputable Japanese Telco.

We had a lot of support for our last offer on Ozbargain and I am sure that everyone that purchased was very pleased with the service they received from us.

We will keep working on trying to offer the best value possible to the Ozbargain community.

As you said your self, you are a "small" business as a result I'd guess these are resold esims (it's not your APN is it?) and if so it's it an Australian end point (will my data flow back to Australia)?

I'd be happy to be correct but it sounds to me like this is no different from many other esims where it ends up getting processed through some data centre in a 3rd country.

        • These are travel eSIM, by default these will connect to 3rd party overseas network. All of these network have access to some form of data.

I am posting offers which I believe offer great value, not just monetary value but also reliability and support.

I am sorry this isn’t suitable to you. Perhaps you will find better value in future offers :-)

Neg for rep behaviour. There is no need to make it personal and get all passive aggressive on OzBargain. It's not a great look.

Cheaper elsewhere as per the commentators above.

            • @Lucille Bluth: I am sorry you are taking it this way, I was not being passive. I genuinely hope you will find better value in future offers.

  • I usually use Nomad for esims when travelling. Checked the price of this deal compared to what's currently on offer for Nomad and prices look pretty similar

  • I'm using a Platinum Telecom eSIM right now in Malaysia from their last promo and been happy with it.

Link for eSIM installation and activation arrived minutes after purchase.

Activation uneventful and quick (need to be in stable wifi).

Data speed and network coverage as expected roaming on Maxis.

Not sure why a worse deal is being posted a week & 1 day after the last one expired (30% off).

Seem more like just using OzB for free adz.
