ORIGINAL DEAL TEXT: Camera House emailed me a promo stating 8x12" photos were $1.95 each, so I decided to take advantage of it. I was pleasantly surprised to enter the promo code into the print@camerahouse software and discover they're actually only being charged at a quarter of the advertised discount price @ $0.49 each.

I'm not sure whether they will modify the pricing in the software when/if they become aware of this glitch, so you may need to act quickly on this.

      I hope so too - now I just need to find a good deal on 8x12" photo frames. The HN $5 frame deal I posted yesterday turned out to be store specific.

        Take a look at the importers warehouse sale coming up if you are in Sydney. A major Australian framer usually turns up to offload stock. The best deals are on the last day. Google "importers warehouse" for details.

        There is also Corban & Blair who are having a sale near Lewisham sometime soon I think. Their prices are much more expensive though, even during sale.

      Although expired.. thought I'd pipe in. Do you use a calibrated monitor and select no colour correction when printing? I do, and actually found Camera House worse than Big W and HN. YMMV

    its worked, the order gone through, and received email order confirmation.

    For those who cannot work it out, try to change your upload method to HTML (it worked for me), the JAVA got error on me.

    Just got a call from CameraHouse saying that their internet provider put the wrong price up and that they will only do the prints for $1.95 - was worth a try though…

        I have not heard from them either. I think the Camera House stores are franchised, so perhaps your local store has rejected the offer but other stores are honouring it, similar to the Dominos Pizza deals? Or perhaps my store just hasn't got to my orders yet? We shall see…

        I would have imagined they'd just honour it and move on - there can't have been a million people take up the offer and potentially bankrupt them.

          Makes it more likely the crowd will throw a tantrum in the event of a future price error that isn't as viable to honour. Consistent rejection keeps expectations in check.

    Well, I'll be damned. Received eighteen 8x12s in the mail today at 49 cents each plus postage - no quality complaints and much faster than the few times I've purchased from HN via mail. Thumbs up to John Ralph's Camera House Erina for honouring the price, assuming they were even aware of it before they printed the photos :D
