Low price on this PCIe WiFi and Bluetooth card for your computer if you don't want to use a USB adapter. It's a good option for anyone who's picked up an ex-corporate SFF PC on the cheap. While it's no WiFi 6E/7 it's still perfectly fine for use and mine have been going strong over a year now.

This one uses an Intel chipset with support for 2.4GHz (300Mbps), 5GHz (867Mbps) WiFi and has a 9 pin connector for the Bluetooth 4.0 connection.

If you don't want to use the included Fenvi drivers for Windows you can get them directly from Intel instead. Intel BT Driver and Intel WiFi Driver.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and GST inclusive.

How to get the AU$ price in the title with PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

  • Will this be better than my 10-year-old+ ASUS?

    • +4

I assume you have a ASUS N-15, so in terms of speed, probably, in terms of reliability (e.g. drop off or signal strength) it's not going to be much better imo.

If you have a few brick walls in the way, I'd recommend a bigger antenna first.

      • I have an ASUS PCE-AC68. No issues with it, none in the whole time I've had it. But if there is something faster out there…

Noob here, but would you need to remove cover and attach it to motherboard or can be attached externally via any exposed ports. If someone can help pls as I’m in need of this but not competent enough to attach to motherboard

    • +2

You would need to remove the PCIe Bracket on your Case that is aligned to the PCIe Slot you use for the adapter. It is super easy to do, you'd definitely be able to do it!

    • It needs to be plugged into motherboard which is very simple. If not confident, buy a USB wifi dongle instead.

Yes, remove cover and attach it to a PCIe slot on your motherboard.

  • Is this better than a tp link bluetooth dongle?

Dunno if I trust these Chinese pcie WiFi adapters. Had two WiFi 6 ones and both were unreliable. Ended up returning both and sworn off them

They're literally just Intel WiFi cards and no different to what's slapped in a laptop besides the antennas. What ones did you have? If they were MediaTek WiFi 6 adapters or trying to run Realtek on Linux I'd understand the frustration.

      • Intel wireless generally works fine on Linux these days?

        • I haven't had much issue, personally…..

Spend the extra money and get a wifi 6 ot 7 card. Wifi 5 is super old these days

  • Thanks got 2

  • @Clear thinking of getting the USB 6E at ~$15 but it's showing as locked behind buying 2 other random useless things before i'm allowed to check out. Do you know any way around that?

    • You can search for it outside of that but it might be more expensive than adding 2 items @ US$1.59 + GST.

Edit - Just noticed Cat and Dog collar US$0.99 + GST.

      • Lol interestingly it's now showing $20.86 by itself for me. Previously I searched outside but it straight up didn't have the regular "add to cart" button or even a product page url - going into the weird "buy 3" system was the only option, which is now gone.

        • That should show through the app or in the 3 for $2.99 section.

  • I am late. looks like expired
