How about they just advertise the fact that they're giving 5000 donuts to the homeless for Donut Day instead?
Oh I know, because people would complain we're feeding the homeless rubbish to go with their otherwise clean, healthy diets.

    • I mean, you're welcome to open your own donuts store and then you can decide what to do with your own product?

Get real. The homeless are already highly dependent on a lot worse than sugar. What you're suggesting from a 'support, & healthy food to help long term' perspective
is just as ridiculous. What, you think giving someone a free apple a day will change their diet? Their dependency on drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, etc?

Businesses do advertise donations as a marketing ploy too, seems you don't understand marketing at all to me.

A lot of the people on here are scabs, they aren't necessarily in need of anything free and are already overweight and addicted to junk food.

Kudos for the post though, the time dedication, the ability to be equally grandstanding, ill-informed and condescending all at the same time.

@INFIDEL: Already with the 'I have a Psychology degree, I can't lose an argument' line? You could have at least waited for me to beat you down a little more, surely?
Now, take your fake Psychology degree, look yourself in the mirror and self diagnose. If you were secure in what you're opinion is here you wouldn't need to spend the two largest OzBargain posts ever concocting a bunch of BS and getting emotional about this issue in trying to prove me incorrect, which you've still failed to do anyway.
You've still missed the point of my post too, meanwhile creating a strawman that I'm somehow suggesting giving out donuts is going to save the homeless. Hilarious.
