Help Me Choose a New TV Poll

My current TV (Samsung 65Q90) just had the panel fail so looking to replace it this time with a 75".
I've added a couple of tvs that seem pretty good bang for buck but very much open to other ideas and recommendations!
Im not looking to spend too much more than the listed tvs below…

cheers

Help Me Choose a New TV Poll

Mine doesn't need a pole, it sits on a bench

    • You doing your best jv impression :)

That's bold of you to say

I have the Samsung Frame 75". Love it. Got it for $2k in a deal on ozbargain.

    • I'm hearing whispers that the remote, (even though it's hugely first world problems), is super annoying to use? Solid TV but.

I just want to upvote whatever everyone else is already supporting ,

Wait a few weeks for EOFY sales and TCL C855 75" will probably fall into your price range. It has already fallen to 2.5k on appliancecentral from 3.5k over the past month and will keep falling if last yr is anything to go by.

C855 is way more TV for your buck than the c755, Hisense's reputation in Australia is poor, and 75 inch QN90C for $2250 looks too low to be real…?

    • The QN90c is on samsung edu store…

How does the QN90C rate v the TCL C855?

      thanks

Great price for qn90c, too early to know how tcl c855 stacks up because no objective reviews out yet. Safe bet is to go the qn90c.

Personally I'm waiting for c855 because c845 was the price to performance king of 2023 in Australia/on Ozbargains and the c855 is a sizable spec bump in terms of mini LED count and dimming zones.

That said I have the luxury of waiting until EOFY/black friday for it to hopefully drop to sub 2k.

The only other id suggest is the LG C series but couldn't tell you current pricing

    • I thnk they are still well out of the price bracket even for older models…. cheers

  • For those that are across their TCL models does the C855 offer a significant improvement over the C755? I could justify the extra $300 for gains that will be definitely noticed not just on paper…

I'll add that one into the Poll…. You can change your vote if you care enough..

    cheers

  • I've pretty much decided that it's between the TCL C855 or the Samsung QN90C… Just want to look into the TCL a bit more to justify the little bit extra spend…
